The @UNOPS team in #Gaza has reported three incidents over three consecutive days affecting our convoys and premises in the past week alone.
Close proximity explosions, drivers detained at checkpoints, and multiple small arms rounds striking one of our guesthouses.
The team is working to help people in desperate need. Their safety has been compromised way too many times.
All parties must uphold their obligations to protect civilians and humanitarian personnel.

Attacks directed against civilians are prohibited under international law.
Yet, from the Middle East to Ukraine to Sudan, we are seeing civilians & civilian infrastructure deliberately thrust into the line of fire.
Nothing seems to be off-limits: homes, hospitals, schools, airports, power stations & energy facilities.
These attacks must stop.

"A powerful moment to reflect on our shared commitment to the UN Charter, and what’s needed to deliver tangible results for the people we serve, and the planet we all call home."
#UNDay 🇺🇳🌍
As global challenges mount and resources shrink, effective and impactful multilateral cooperation is needed more than ever.
Excellent interactions with Denmark’s Foreign Minister @larsloekke and fellow members of the @UNCityCPH leadership team to mark this week’s 🇺🇳 Day.
With colleagues from across the UN, a powerful moment to reflect on our shared commitment to the UN Charter, and what’s needed to deliver tangible results for the people we serve, and the planet we all call home.
The innovation, technical expertise and cooperation in Copenhagen and the broader Nordic region can be an inspiration and a great resource, as the UN works to be more agile and efficient, to meet the mega challenges the world is facing.
