Under @POTUS, we are investing in the safety of America’s miners who are powering American Energy Dominance.
These funds will deliver hands-on training and resources directly to miners and small mine operators to ensure every miner returns home safely at the end of their shift.
Small mines face unique safety challenges. To bridge this gap, @MSHA_DOL is providing $250,000 in Brookwood-Sago grants to two organizations. The funding focuses on creating innovative safety materials and emergency response training specifically tailored for mine operators and miners at smaller operations.

A @USDOL grant assisted in creating @KansasCityKSCC's Commercial Construction Technology Training Program to provide students with the hands-on training and skills needed to fill the commercial construction jobs being created in their local communities.
Senator @RogerMarshallMD and I had the opportunity to visit KCKCC's Downtown Campus to see how this program and other initiatives, like the employer-guided Automation Engineer Program, are creating pathways for students to pursue high-paying careers close to home.
