Recalling the zillion times @V4BTC pretty much called it the inevitable end game of the fiat system.
BREAKING: Paraguay is in chaos right now.
Paraguay's central bank has taken control of Ueno Bank following serious insolvency issues.
Approximately 2.94 million customers, around 63% of Paraguay's adult population, have lost access to their money.
A brutal reminder: Your money isn't truly yours if you can't access it when it matters most.

🚨 PARAGUAY 🇵🇾 RIOTS IN THE STREETS AFTER 3 MILLION PEOPLE GOT LOCKED OUT OF THEIR OWN MONEY
The central bank shut down Ueno Bank, one of the biggest banks in the country.
3 million customers. About 60% of all adults in Paraguay.
Salaries. Pensions. Savings. FROZEN.
No app. No cards. No ATMs.
Even $380 million of the state pension fund is stuck inside.
Covid locked people inside their homes. This locked them out of their own money.
Then it turned POLITICAL.
President Santiago Peña, the right-wing friend of Milei and Kast, was a SHAREHOLDER in Ueno's holding company until 2025.
And the man he picked to run the central bank in 2023 used to run Ueno.
Within 24 hours:
• the central bank chief signed his resignation after Peña asked for it
• Ueno's CEO handed himself in to police, 5 more executives DETAINED
• crowds in central Asunción demanding Peña's exit
• the opposition pushing to impeach him
The last time Paraguay's banks broke, in 1995, more than half of them went down.

🇫🇷 FRENCH BANK CONFIRMS CYBERATTACK LINKED TO $133 MILLION CRYPTO THEFT
Crédit Mutuel Arkéa confirmed hackers executed fraudulent transactions, with blockchain investigator @zachxbt estimating losses exceeding $133 million.
Blockchain analytics firm Bitquery traced $108.8 million in USDC withdrawn from Kraken, Cryptocom, and OKX accounts over 21 hours.
The attackers rapidly converted stolen stablecoins into ETH to avoid issuer freezes, swapping $63 million into 27,553 ETH in just four hours.
The bank says the attack is contained and customers will suffer no financial losses. The full amount stolen remains unconfirmed.

Just a few days earlier, they had launched a campaign encouraging people to deposit money by offering 50% cashback.
How many more banks have to pull something like this before people realize their money isn’t safe in the banking system?
