Despite what the commenters try to portray — when I was in Hebron those who harassed me, the "wrong kind of a Jew" to them were the im tirtzu folks, not the Arabs|Palestinians|Muslims.
This weekend the Jews are celebrating.

What in particular surprised me when I begun reading about late 19th early 20th century maritime world, is how I always assumed whaling being something that waned off in late 19th century, but turns out it's early 20th century when whales were decimated.
