I wonder if Nick only kept hovering in old furry friend groups bc they're all chronically online nerds who catch onto/talk about trends/new media etc fairly early on, so he can appear cool for being the first person in his non-furry friend groups to share/know about a thing.
Nick will happily tell you all about how he gives cash to homeless ppl or about the time he helped a girl from his highschool get her nudes taken off reddit.

I think I used up so many emotional resources being kind & understanding toward Nick for yeears that Ive suddenly completely run dry of any care for him.
