I’m not saying yes… BUT if there was a time where an unprecedented win was to occur without any but one precursor nom (and win!), it’s now!
Do you think Fernanda Torres is going to win the Oscar for Best Actress?

I am a die hard Daniel Craig as Bond fan, but I have to surrender and admit Licence to Kill is my favourite Bond movie! I WISH another Bond film stepped so outside its usual tone as much as LTK did

The Oscar Madness Bracket Challenge has begun! On the latest episode Benji and I are joined by @AdriCaporusso to take the last 24 Best Supporting Actor Winners and narrow it down to one winner. This was a great time: youtu.be/wYiCTCd9Nqg

Amazon’s success with #ProjectHailMary gives me some faith that they know what they’re doing when it comes to James Bond. Hiring Denis Villeneuve is already a great sign. But I think Amazon has earned some benefit of the doubt in their pursuit for a new 007.

JUST IN: Callum Turner odds to star as next James Bond fall to 42%

Here are my final FINAL predictions, I’ve decided I’m just gonna go down with the ship of predicting Sinners for Best Picture:

I’m sure I’m real late to the party on this one but since when was Natalie Portman Oscar nominated this year?

Sinners and One Battle After Another are both masterpieces. Both Ryan Coogler and Paul Thomas Anderson are winning an Oscar. We are in the most win-win scenario imaginable. I’m not innocent here, but there’s no reason to turn this into a bloodbath when there’s no bad outcome

I’m surprised Variety isn’t predicting Sinners to win Best Animated Short, too.

- No movie with CCA/GG/BAFTA/ACE/DGA/PGA/WGA/1 SAG win has ever lost BP - No movie with ACE/SAG/WGA has ever lost BP - No movie since 00 has ever lost BP while winning Director/Screenplay/Editing - No movie since 93 has ever lost BP while winning 2 acting awards and Screenplay
Folks, Best Picture is NOT over. We have 2 movies with plenty of stats on their side going at it. Both have undefeated combos at the Oscar, both have powerful win paths to BP, this is the closest race since 2019.

Also, if they have any effort and truly respect animation, they should make this beautiful animation presentation of the Best Picture nominees again
If the Oscars insists on keeping the five-presenter format, this is the only version that actually works. Have actors speak for their own crews, the cinematographers, costume designers, set designers, editors, composers they directly collaborated with. That kind of praise comes from lived creative intimacy and feels genuine. It’s far more natural than dragging out five previous acting winners who have zero personal or artistic connection to the nominees and end up repeating the same hollow compliments or had to read the teleprompter in front of them that just comes off as awkward
