Agree with @EthanDeFi_ Strong claims on yield are important. That's why SWAN tokens give you real yield earned from borrowers borrowing SwanUSD, and staking SwanUSD gives you immediately liquid SWAN. All of which in turn is designed to be hard to rug by the operator.
This is why I think burning money to farm imaginary points is a bad idea. If you can earn a good yield while farming points, or get points from activities you'd do anyway, great. Otherwise, it's not worth it. Too many projects end up rugging point holders.

Must read for those haven’t looked into Monolith and Swan yet. 6 years ago, people criticized MakerDAO for moving away from Dai’s original single-collateral design. But the Maker protocol was too hard to fork and required too much governance overhead (eg to set rates). Now, anyone can create their own autonomous single-collateral Dai AND MakerDAO in few minutes using Monolith. We spent years building the individual pieces that made this tech possible and permissionless: the autonomous rate controller, the dual debt modes, the immutability deadline, the temporary PSM, bad debt socialization, and recently the DAO factory. All of which are built from first principles and have never been built into a stablecoin before. This industry desperately needed an alternative to centralized, opaque, mutable, freezable and CeFi-dependent stables. Monolith stablecoins will provide that alternative and Monolith DAOs will grow it.
There's a certain romance to DeFi that charts and APRs will never capture. And after almost 10 years in crypto, I'm feeling it more than ever. You discover a protocol. Spend hundreds of hours figuring out how it works. Eventually, something clicks. You start using it, invest your own capital, maybe even lock your tokens for years. And sometimes, years later, that decision opens a completely unexpected door. Take my veAERO airdrop. Years ago, when crypto markets were getting hammered and confidence was running low, I bought VELO and locked it into veVELO for four years. Making that kind of long-term commitment in such an uncertain market felt like a real leap of faith. 😅 But I believed in what the team was building. Fast-forward, and that leap of faith earned me a veAERO airdrop. I later kept accumulating through DCA. Then came Aerodrome, Base, new liquidity markets, new mechanisms, new strategies. I remember getting excited about Base early on, too. And the rabbit hole just kept getting deeper. Curve was another incredible journey. At first, it looked ridiculously complicated. Pools, gauges, voting power, locks, incentives... I genuinely wondered how anyone could understand all this stuff. But I kept digging. Eventually, Curve clicked. Then I discovered Convex. Then another layer of strategies, voting markets and cash-flow mechanisms. One discovery led to another. And here's the beautiful part: sometimes an airdrop isn't even the biggest reward. Sometimes it's simply the reason you discover a technology you might otherwise have completely missed. That's exactly what's happening to me again with Monolith and SwanDAO. I already knew Inverse Finance, DOLA and FiRM, but hadn't explored everything in depth. Then I learned that vlCVX and veCRV holders could qualify for a SWAN airdrop. Think about that. Years ago, I put in the work to understand Curve and Convex, accumulated those positions and committed capital long-term. And now those old decisions are introducing me to an entirely new ecosystem. So I started digging again. Bought around 1,000 swanUSD, staked it, started farming SWAN, then staked SWAN to earn more swanUSD. And now there's a proposal to use sSwanUSD as collateral on FiRM, opening up even more borrowing strategies and risks to study. But what really grabbed my attention was Monolith itself. A platform where people can launch their own collateral-backed stablecoins and build DAO economies around them. Imagine where that can lead. And eventually, AI agents helping operate portfolios, funds, onchain companies and DAOs. Another whole universe of things to learn. That's how this journey works for me. A protocol leads to a strategy. A strategy leads to another ecosystem. An old lock leads to an airdrop. An airdrop leads to a new technology. And every time I come back to a subject, I understand a little more than I did before. I love writing about these discoveries in simple words. Partly for the people reading, but also for myself. If I can explain something clearly, it means I've probably learned something real. Hundreds of experiments. Thousands of hours. Endless conversations with fellow DeFi nerds and AI. Not just chasing tokens. Learning how these financial machines actually work. And honestly, I love every minute of it. One step at a time. One discovery opening the door to the next. 🌱

Love seeing this! 🦢 Happy to support @MonolithMarket and be part of this new DeFi experiment. Saw the announcement from Convex, checked my wallet and found myself on the SWAN airdrop snapshot list thanks to my vlCVX and veCRV positions. Nice surprise! So I decided to give it a try. Swapped $1,000 into swanUSD, deposited it to receive sSwanUSD, and staked that for additional SWAN rewards. 👀 Now I'm farming SWAN while working toward the seven-day holding requirement. Already watching the rewards accumulate. But honestly, the airdrop isn't even the most interesting part. I've been digging into Monolith, and I love the idea behind it. Imagine launching your own crypto-backed stablecoin, creating a DAO with its own governance token, treasury, voting system and revenue sharing. Basically, building your own little onchain financial system. Pretty wild! And there's some great history here. Monolith was developed with support from @InverseFinance, the ecosystem behind DOLA, sDOLA and the legendary INV airdrop in 2021, when some early participants saw six-figure allocations. Does that mean SWAN will deliver anything similar? Absolutely not. I'm going into this with zero expectations. I simply enjoy supporting builders, experimenting with new protocols and understanding the economics behind them. I already use DOLA and sDOLA in my stablecoin cash-flow strategies, so exploring Monolith feels like a natural next step. And I'm especially interested in the DAO-building side. I have a few ideas of my own that could eventually benefit from this kind of infrastructure. There's something exciting about watching tools that once required entire development teams become accessible to almost anyone. Of course, it's still early, and the capital is exposed to real risks. But that's part of why I enjoy exploring DeFi. Not just hunting for rewards, but discovering what people are building and where finance might be heading. I'll keep experimenting and sharing what I find. Love this stuff! 🦢
Airdrop activated! vlCVX holders, @MonolithMarket has launched swanUSD with a SWAN airdrop for eligible wallets. Check the post below for details:

Swan USD and Swan DAO are live. You can earn SWAN by staking swanUSD. If you're on the list of eligible partner communities, you can earn an additional SWAN airdrop. Partner communities: @CurveFinance, @ConvexFinance, @StakeDAOHQ, @yearnfi and @InverseFinance Current staking APY is over 7000% because it's early. Good opportunity to grab some tokens :)

I'll take the other side of this. Bugs discovered by AI auditing are much more likely to be caught by a whitehat than blackhat, while AI tools are dramatically increasing the security of newly deployed code.
I would heavily advise to withdrawal your money from defi protocols for the next 1-2 years Hearing of many critical bugs being found by whitehackers, only a matter of time before someone bad runs into them

The @InverseFinance yBOLD loop is coming today. I repeat. It is coming TODAY.
I am very sorry... But I can't think of a better risk-adjusted loop than this.

You asked. We delivered. You asked again. We delivered again. 2,000,000 in fresh DOLA liquidity available in reUSD-sDOLA LP FiRM markets right now. The stack: @ResupplyFi reUSD paired with @InverseFinance sDOLA on @CurveFinance, deposited through @StakeDAOHQ onlyBoost or @yearnfi strategies. Both markets sold out twice. The third ceiling is open. First come, first served. Grab it before it goes. firm.inverse.finance

This is actually the craziest thing I've seen on-chain basically EVER. Loracle is net short, A LOT of different assets. But most noticeably, they are short $PONS. They were DEEPLY underwater on the $PONS short. In turn, they proved that PONS could be one-shotted with the newest AI model. They created a Robinhood launchpad, with 0% fees. PEZ. I wanna think this their attempt and way to force PONS price down...

Are there any wallets that let you easily: - 2/3 @safe smart wallet - 1 key lives in your browser wallet of choice - 1 key lives in a phone 2FA style app and just signs - 1 key is a paper recovery key in case one of the other keys are lost. The design makihg sure no single key compromise will lose the user's funds.
the number of posts about wallet hacks i’m seeing on my TL is just crazy a few things that are VERY critical right now: - revoke wallet approvals regularly - use separate devices for work, personal, trading - don’t connect your main wallet to random vibe-coded apps - keep the majority of your funds in a cold wallet ffs don’t end up losing everything chasing a 100x

Why doesn't: `require(condition, CustomErrorMsg(someVar)` short circuit in solidity? It reads much better than: `if(condition) revert CustomErrorMsg(someVar)`

American AI companies have ~2 years to improve society in dramatic, legible ways before normies will bottleneck datacenter buildout on a national level.
This is what we have to look forward to when Dems are back in power lol
