Is this how @AmericanExpress treats all its Platinum cardholders in the world?
1. ENGLISH
Unacceptable practice on my Amex Platinum Canada card.
On July 9, 2026, while the next statement had not yet been issued (scheduled for July 19, payable on August 9), @AmericanExpress debited my current non-due balance.
Displayed my account in red, blocked my card, and indicated that I had exceeded my limit, which is now reduced to $5,100, even though I had just paid the full amount of the June 19, 2026 statement of $10,914.10.
This is not the first time my card has been blocked without a valid reason.
These actions create artificial turbulence and risk harming my credit file.
I REQUEST:
Immediate unblocking of my card
Restoration of my unlimited Platinum card.
Correction of my file.
I have already submitted my documents (proof of payment, bank statements, income notices) through the official channels of @AmericanExpress.
I'm still waiting a prompt resolution that complies with the terms of use of the Amex Platinum card.
Creating an artificial state of delinquency by displaying the account in red and demanding immediate payment for a statement that had not yet been issued without reason, Amex generated a technical delinquency situation while my account was up to date.
Blocking the card and unilaterally reducing the limit
My card was blocked without a clear reason linked to actual non-payment, and the limit was lowered to $5,100 immediately even after a payment of more than $10,914.10?
This appears to be a disproportionate measure.
It is a premature and abusive collection practice, arbitrary and punitive account management.
Artificial creation of credit turbulence (risk of negative reporting to the credit bureau even though I have no late payment)
Apparent failure to respect the normal billing cycle provided for in the terms of the Platinum card
Disproportionate measures against a customer who systematically pays in full.
In summary, this can be described as excessively aggressive and non-transparent risk management behaviour that penalizes and risks unfairly harming my credit file.
You have applied measures normally reserved for delinquent customers (those who do not respect payment deadlines) to a person who systematically pay her account in full and even pay more than the statement balance.
You are artificially creating a problem situation where there was none.
This is poorly targeted risk management.
Please act accordingly.

HELLO DEAR NETWORK
VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE
This post has been pinned to my profile since August 11, 2025.
I promised to return to continue speaking out, but without a set date.
In the meantime, a lot has happened. After being held captive for 15 months, having my skin burned with bleach, I needed medical care that I couldn't get in Canada. The criminals had destroyed all my identification documents because no one was supposed to find me alive.
After the real federal authorities helped me identify myself using a photo from my passport, on December 30, 2025, I took a flight to Valencia, Spain.
I almost lost the ability to speak to you again.
On February 28, 2026, upon returning from a two-month trip to Europe, I was abducted at Montreal Trudeau Airport, right in front of everyone, without anyone suspecting a thing, by SQ officers.
SAME MODIS OPERENDIS
What I was accused of:
A fake arrest warrant was issued using the same fake ticket file that the officers involved used to abduct me under the guise of an arrest.
Miraculously, I managed to escape alive from this third abduction.
AMEX CANADA
Investigations, conversations, and leaks have allowed me to confirm that Amex Canada administrators are involved in helping these same individuals, government officials, destroy my name by using my Amex Platinum credit card, which I applied for in Canada 🇨🇦. These criminals are all accomplices: Judge Antonieta Campagnone,
Crown Prosecutor and Revenu Québec employee Michel Corriveau,
Esther Salomon, a lawyer for Revenu Québec, and a certain Jean-Philippe Richard, also a Revenu Québec employee.
They stole my Canadian passport and placed a fake $10,000 bond on my old Amex card 🇺🇸, which they then disposed of along with my identification documents.
LINKS
Therefore, all of AMEX CANADA's actions indicate that these two cases are connected.
In February 2020, Toronto-Dominion Bank acted as their accomplice, using a simple note on a piece of paper to seize my TD bank account in Montreal.
So now,
Amex Canada has taken over, helping these corrupt officials who have committed crimes and are willing to do anything to avoid getting caught and continue to tormenting my life.
DIFFERENCE
I have confirmation that Amex Canada administrators are knowingly disregarding my rights, creating turmoil in order to post negative reports on my Equifax Canada and TransUnion credit reports.
DISCLOSURE
I have made my credit report public because Amex Canada sent me an email stating that their decision to modify and block my account, humiliating me, was based on negative reports on my credit report.
I immediately contacted @EquifaxCanada 🇨🇦 and @TransUnion.
I subscribed to access my files whenever I want without impacting my credit.
SECURITY
I also locked my credit files with both institutions.
For the last time, I am asking Amex Canada to comply.
PAYMENT TO MY CARD
After this situation, I have avoided falling victim to their dubious practices and doing what they want.
I am waiting to find out if I should cancel my Platinum card myself.
EXPLANATION
There is no sense in Amex Platinum Canada's actions: reducing a card whose balances are always fully paid to a limit of $5100 with an annual fee of $799.
REASONING
Someone here on social media, can you explain the math Amex Platinum Canada used to humiliate me?
I'm waiting for Amex Canada to reinstate my Amex Platinum card account so I can pay it.
In the meantime, please know that I hold Amex Canada responsible for all the negative actions in my case.
Please act accordingly.
