Dear fellow Europeans,
Sorry for being so frustrated.
But if nothing else matters, support the Iranian people’s fight, at least for selfish reasons.
If we tear down the regime, our continent will be much safer.

someone is mass deploying Offensive AI Agents.
hundreds of ARTEX instances are popping up across multiple VPS providers creating a potential distributed attack network.
the largest clusters are on 38.11.x.x (Cogent) and 172.245.x.x (ColoCrossing) with others on DigitalOcean, Vultr and Linode. some of these providers accept cryptocurrency payments.
an identical ETag (6acfa90c-39df) and Content-Length (14815) prove they are all dropping from the same Docker image or template.
vendors like Microsoft, CrowdStrike and AhnLab have already confirmed ARTEX in live attacks including against Korean financial institutions.

First I thought this is a joke. But no, bro seriously wrote this, he seriously thought it’s ok. “Ah yup, no mallace intended”😐
Ah yup. That was indeed me. No mallace intended. I've been running some agents to do signups + agentic testing on similar platforms. Just halted the harness I was designing around this as it was definitely going off the rails and reaching too far

In many jurisdictions this is a crime. In the US under Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, 18 U.S.C. §1030, in the UK under Computer Misuse Act (CMA) 1990, in Germany Strafgesetzbuch (StGB), and many others.

Weekend hack: HackerTube. I was annoyed with YouTube's recommendations so I had Claude filter down 43M comments over 20 years of HN to 6,454 videos that keep being recommended. *Significantly* better viewing experience, ~2 hours with Opus 5.5:
hackertube.org/
- Excellent recs without any logins (state is kept in local browser session)
- Thumbnail is a representative frame from middle of the video instead of the super duper A/B test hyper-optimized user uploads
- Underlying data from the comment analysis as one zip file, point your Claude at it and ask for your own version
- HackerTube Longs ✊
A bit more on the process:
I use Claude Code (desktop app for Mac), Opus 5.5 on Medium effort as my default. I only talk to Claude and have it do everything, the only "manual work" I helped with in tandem was in the browser (reminiscent of MenuGen): 1) I had to create some kind of API key from Google Cloud UI to query YouTube for video metadata, 2) I booted up a VPS box for serving and 3) I bought the domain name. Once the box was up I gave Claude the IP and told it update, secure, harden, deploy and optimize the code, and it did the whole thing.
Many awesome projects that would have normally taken weeks/months even can now be few-shotted for breakfast. What else are we not thinking of.
If Hitler was alive he would be considered “moderate” these days. Dude is literally a kid playing football and people are wishing he’s dead.
🚨 Barcelona are seriously considering calling up Israeli player Orian Goren for El Clasico tomorrow. @marca

About 10 people msg'd me telling me why I'm wrong and why they're unemployed.
Lots of excuses by people who believe the world owes them something or who insist their precious elite skills or unique circumstances warrant them the unicorn job they deserve.
A few examples:
1) I did 4y of study and after 6 months I don't a job.
A degree is just an entry ticket to the competition that is the market, not more. You don't deserve anything just because you have a paper.
I spent 2 years looking for a job after graduating Magna Cum Laude in History (yes, I was young & stupid) to finally get a job in debt collecting. Horrible work but I literally did not have food.
2) There are no jobs in my area, I have to apply to overseas positions.
Claude search, tada here are 300 jobs in your area, did you apply to them? "No, that's cloud and I do rust distributed systems."
Nobody cares how you define yourself. What matters is what people are willing to pay money for.
3) I live a rural area there is just no work.
Ok then move to a city? "I'm neurodivergent and that would be impossible due to my health circumstances"
So am I and I moved 4 countries for better chances.
4) You suck at math, you're not even a real engineer
True. But you're still not making anything?
5) etc..
Meanwhile you have here (teapaw.org/KatieMiller/status/211…) electricians who do actual hard work, driving thousands of miles and sleeping in parking lots just for a chance at money.
So yeah, I do understand now, how you can be unemployed in IT.
By refusing to change and adapt
By being entitled by your degree or CV
By having a giant ego due to your vim or math skills
By only choosing roles you feel you deserve
By spending your time speed running Krastorio 2 instead of increasing your market value
However,
If you not the above
if you're hungry
if you'll do anything to get started
if you don't give up
Then you will eventually get a job, build a career and earn a mountain of cash.
I honestly don't understand how you can be unemployed in IT. There's so much opportunity.
I'm in my early 40s, 3 young children, 8y in IT, History degree. ZERO formal IT education. I got laid off 3 months ago.
Now: Fully booked as independent auditor.
Options (set linkedin to open for 1 day):
- Forward deployed engineer AI/AI security
- Senior Cybersecurity (web2) consultant
- Cloud Infra (Azure/AWS)
- AI engineer data/infra
- Solutions Architect cloud/sec
- Sales engineer (many)
- etc...
Or I could just build my own security consulting firm if I was willing to do all the sales & marketing (I'm not).
There's so much opportunity today it's absurd. Be open, learn new skills, get certificates like they're coupons for Steam. Get communication classes if you're too deep on the spectrum for all I care.
There is a TON of work & $$$ to be made.
Totally unrelated, but this just reminded me of something: I grew up in northwest Iran, and our border with both 🇦🇿 and 🇦🇲 is the Aras River. Later in school, my first geography class was a big shock, like, 'how tf do other countries know where their borders are?' 😂
update on this that no one asked for:
> opened another ticket on September
> asked what happened with my previous ticket
> first response was really nice, "we're very sorry, we'll investigate what happened, blah"
> they closed my ticket today, NO RESPONSE
fuck you @Hacker0x01
> got banned from @Hacker0x01 with no communication whatsoever
> opened a ticket to ask why
> waited more than 2 months
> they closed my support ticket without any response
It feels sad and weird being ghosted like this
I’ve seen hundreds of comments like this since this morning. The Wright brothers’ first flight was like 35 meters, 120 years later, we have the A380, which **can** fly 850 people over 15,000 km. Elon made something visionary and historic, and people are acting like it’s nothing.
I’m in, let’s see how we can break Rust stuff. Never did that before :)
@rektoff_xyz
