I've spent a lot of time debating whether to write this, but I'm going to set my pride aside. I'm 63, work full-time as a graphic designer, and earn a meager income. I live alone in a small one-bedroom apartment, have no car, and am struggling under a considerable amount of debt. I've had to postpone some basic needs, including new glasses and dental work, simply because I can't afford them. I work hard, pay my bills as best I can, and try to live responsibly. But financially, I've reached a point where I could genuinely use some help from good people who God has blessed. I've seen social media crowdfunding do some incredible things, just by a lot of people giving a small amount to a cause that they care about. I'm not looking for a handout to live extravagantly. I'm asking for a helping hand to get back on my feet. If any of my friends and followers are in a position to contribute, even a little, I would be sincerely grateful.
