Lol it did account for sun contribution to the sensor on the table :) and the model looks right if you compare it with actual measurements.

Here people argue how poor people in Poland are - because average spending on food is around $128 per month according to GUS. But the thing is... if you cook you can spend even less! ...and I bet your menu looks less diverse than this! Some details: monumental-gingersnap-f023ee…
To G20 to chyba jeszcze daleko przed nami. A ty, ile wydajesz miesięcznie na jedzenie na 1os?

Over the past several months, we have substantially hardened the security of our research training environment. We’ve removed live internet access for all frontier models during training and built an offline world for them to use instead—a cached version of the web where they can still learn to browse, search, and use applications. On September 20, after a model exploited a DNS misconfiguration to find a way outside of this offline world, we paused frontier training to strengthen containment further. We assembled teams of agents, powered by our most cyber-capable models, and tasked them with finding weaknesses in our research environments. While they found no route to the internet they could easily exploit while concealing their activity from our monitors, they did find zero-day vulnerabilities, virtual machine escapes, and hardware side-channels for communication between agents. We used their discoveries to further strengthen our defenses and contribute fixes to open-source software. After strengthening our containment architecture, we resumed our frontier RL training and inference on October 1. We’ve reserved substantial compute for continuous red-teaming, and made high-compute red-teaming part of the safety cases we use to decide whether frontier training and evaluation can proceed securely. openai.com/index/securing-ou…

New proposal: What if claude limits got refilled by 1% every hour of not using it? Like HP recover in GTA or Mana in fantasy games

Now I finally understand why all those futuristic movies have computers made from literal scrap metal! Because a stick of DDR7 costs $1M dollars in 2077. So they take old ThinkPad SO-DIMMs via regular DDR4 adapters and what not - all they had before The Big AI stroke in.

ok let me tell you what happened: yall liked, commented and reposted tweets about vulnerabilitites - so now the algorithm makes your feed look like an absolute hell of a shitshow it cannot be that the whole internet breaks down in one day because of AI agents. right? right?..
AAAAWWOOOOOOOGAAAAAAAAA A high severity vulnerability in "the most widely deployed DNS software on the internet" just dropped kb.isc.org/docs/cve-2026-943…

I guess it's time to cancel those Hetzners and go back to Vercel... you just cannot keep up with all the 0-days without a 24/7 security team anymore...
Vercel has proactively rolled out Firewall-level mitigations for today's Node.js RCE vulnerability, in advance of the official patch release. All traffic for all deployments is automatically protected. We're actively monitoring and rolling out managed runtime upgrades.

on the bright side - you can now root almost everything (if you keep it offline so it doesn't update)
my friend helped me root my smart home speaker using these certs

oh boy... ooooohhhh boy... this is almost the "SSL broken" scenario everybody was fearmongering about
The Indian company eMudhra literally made one of their private keys 0x4... the number 4. And another 0x73.

This test shows how much of a police state a country has became. In such a state people oblige the rules blindly without thinking about the essence behind them. This makes it very easy to control the people - just slowly introduce new stupid laws and everyone will oblige.
Compliance test: You drive in the desert on an empty road - nobody and nothing is in 10km in all directions as far as the eye can see. You approach a crossing with a red light. You stop and look around. 15 minutes passed - it's still red. Would you cross it?
