Easy to know people who have never been in a corporate meeting. The people you're in the meeting with can tell if you're just talking for talking sake.
It's just a matter of time before they start to talk over you or cut you short when you're speaking.

My brother gives his son ₦500 every day for school. The boy is in Primary 1.
Recently, his son started asking for an extra ₦500.
“Daddy, I want to be giving my friend who doesn’t eat in school,” he explained.
My brother agreed and started giving him the extra money.
Yesterday, while dropping him off at school, the boy suddenly shouted, “Daddy, see my friend! She’s coming!”
Behold, the friend was a little girl stepping out of her daddy’s Benz!
My brother, sitting in his own keke napep, was already fuming.
He didn’t even realise when he landed the boy a slap!
He has reduced the boy’s daily allowance to ₦200 now.

I scanned the barcode and I honestly don’t think this is appropriate to do to another human, irrespective of the amount owed.
It’s honestly very condescending and degrading. I really can’t understand people these days. All for content, It is well.🤦🏽♀️

Something has to be done.

“There was a time I was almost detained in Heathrow because I had 18 phones in my bag. They called special forces on me and asked me what I do for a living. I told them I’m a journalist. They told me to show proof, so I dialed the number of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II and former President of America, Bill Clinton.”
