managing different cryptocurrencies shouldn't mean having to jump between several wallet applications.
today, let's look at 𝐔𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐭.
@unstoppablebyhs is an open-source, non-custodial multichain wallet designed to give users control over their crypto assets.
and it supports Zcash.
users can manage both shielded and transparent ZEC, send and receive shielded transactions, and benefit from shielded address rotation to help reduce address reuse.
but there's more.
Unstoppable also integrates multiple swap providers, giving users different options when exchanging their assets.
one interesting addition is its support for Zcash shielded swaps through Exolix.
this brings another way to access swap services while working with ZEC from within the wallet.
the app also includes features like:
• multi-wallet management.
• WalletConnect for interacting with supported dApps.
• phishing and address-poisoning protection.
• Duress Mode for additional protection under coercion.
I find the Zcash integration particularly interesting because it shows how shielded transactions can be made available within a wallet that also supports a wider range of crypto networks.
one thing to keep in mind: Exolix is an external swap provider. its involvement doesn't mean every step of a swap is shielded or that the entire process is anonymous.

what if you could swap your ZEC for assets on other blockchains without first wrapping it or sending it through a bridge?
today, let's look at 𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧.
@THORChain is a decentralised cross-chain liquidity protocol that allows users to swap native assets across supported blockchains.
and Zcash is now part of that ecosystem.
following its ZEC integration in October 2026, users can swap native ZEC for assets on other supported networks without converting it into a wrapped token first.
so, how does this work?
THORChain uses liquidity pools and a network of nodes to coordinate swaps between different blockchains.
this means someone holding ZEC can access assets like BTC, ETH and other supported cryptocurrencies through its cross-chain infrastructure.
what makes this interesting is that ZEC can interact with other blockchain ecosystems while remaining native to the Zcash network.
but there's something important to understand.
THORChain's current ZEC integration uses transparent Zcash transactions. swap activity, addresses and amounts are publicly traceable.
so this doesn't mean that shielded ZEC swaps are now supported.
it's an important step for ZEC interoperability, even though the privacy properties of shielded transactions are not carried over to these swaps.

I've known you for less than two months.
Before September, you were a ticker to me.
Then I travelled from Togo to Nigeria for the Zcash Privacy Developers Residency (@zoerdhub x @ZcashGH), then to Accra for Privacy Meets Payments & Builders Hub.
I learned. I built. I broke things. I built again.
Somewhere along the way, you stopped being something I study and became something I build with.
Respect where it's due: ten years of shipping while nobody was clapping.
Sprout in 2016. Sapling in 2018, which made shielded payments practical on phones. Orchard and Halo 2 in 2022, which removed the trusted setup.
You didn't wait for the narrative.
Now the part a friend says out loud.
You hid the money so well… you hid the builders too.
If Africa is your blind spot, French-speaking Africa is the blind spot inside the blind spot.
I'm building Private Bill: ZEC to local money (CFA, Naira, Cedi) without losing privacy on the way.
Because today, the moment ZEC has to become CFA, Naira or Cedi, privacy too often stops at the door.
Private money I can't spend is still just a beautiful idea.
A few weeks ago I posted my shielded address and asked for support.
Nobody on Earth can see what it received. Except me.

I've known you for less than two months.
Before September, you were a ticker to me.
Then I travelled from Togo to Nigeria for the Zcash Privacy Developers Residency (@zoerdhub x @ZcashGH), then to Accra for Privacy Meets Payments & Builders Hub.
I learned. I built. I broke things. I built again.
Somewhere along the way, you stopped being something I study and became something I build with.
Respect where it's due: ten years of shipping while nobody was clapping.
Sprout in 2016. Sapling in 2018, which made shielded payments practical on phones. Orchard and Halo 2 in 2022, which removed the trusted setup.
You didn't wait for the narrative.
Now the part a friend says out loud.
You hid the money so well… you hid the builders too.
If Africa is your blind spot, French-speaking Africa is the blind spot inside the blind spot.
I'm building Private Bill: ZEC to local money (CFA, Naira, Cedi) without losing privacy on the way.
Because today, the moment ZEC has to become CFA, Naira or Cedi, privacy too often stops at the door.
Private money I can't spend is still just a beautiful idea.
A few weeks ago I posted my shielded address and asked for support.
