i pretty much had removed the idea of anyone actually helping me here with anything despite always trying to be on the generous side myself
can count on one hand the amount of people who really have helped me out in any way
(grebby is one of them)
and the few others you know who you are so thanks

looking back on it, one of the biggest mistakes I made last year (when the market was ridiculously good) was helping people too much without expecting anything in return
referred multiple millions of dollars worth of deals and connections to friends and acquaintances without asking for any referral commission in return
the truth of the matter is - most people can count on one hand the number of friends they have in the space that’s willing to do the same (without getting paid for it). Legitimately cannot remember the last time someone did the same without a vested interest and are just trying to help out
absolutely NOT making that mistake anymore
