Congratulations to Oakland-Craig FRESHMAN QB Trey Sluyter for surpassing the 1000 yard mark passing and rushing in the Knights 60-24 win over Bancroft-Rosalie. First 8-Man player in history to achieve this incredible milestone. 1,197 Passing/16 TDs, 1,073 Rushing with 18 TDs.

Saw another outstanding FRESHMAN earlier in the day in Aquinas QB Caden Vandenberg. So poised and deceptive and polished for his age. I had him unofficially running for 165 yards on 13 carries and 2 for 4 passing for 42 yards with 2 TDs. Ron Mimicks team looked VERY strong.

This young FRESHMAN, Lakin Prince of Pierce was absolutely spectacular from his NG position in Pierce's 35-0 win over Central City. So disruptive! I don't know that Ive seen a Freshman Class C lineman this talented in a long, long time. Keep up the remarkable work my friend!

Konnar Jones beats a 70 yard touchdown run to give Pierce a 28-0 lead over Central City with 11:47 left 4th. That may put him over the 1000 yard mark.

Pierce converts two recovered squib kickoffs into touchdowns to take a 19-0 lead over Central City at halftime. Cole DeBoer on the 1 yd plunge and Burkley Collison on the TD reception.

Final from David City. Shelby-Rising City 30-27 Aquinas. Carter Eickmeier rushed 30 times for 188 yards and 2 touchdowns on a bad right ankle. Huskies fans are absolutely The Best!

GAMEDAY TWIN BILL! Can't wait. David City bound!

You will be missed Will. You were Good my friend, really Good.

Boone Central leads West Point-Beemer 21-14 after 3.

Crofton is leading Gordon-Rushville 58-0 with 4 minutes left 2nd quarter and letting a Lineman carry the ball every play.

Kade Hudson to Cade Miller 10 TD pass makes it 14-14 with 49 ticks left 2nd.

West Point-Beemer 14-7 Boone Central under 2 minutes 2nd. Boone driving on the Cadets 27.

We'll see you @AGBluejayFball Friday on the Hill. Have to check that Nolan kid and that O-Line!

See you @VrbkaJett and the boys on the sidelines Friday afternoon in David City. HEAVEN is high school football on a Friday afternoon then again Friday Night!

Tay Tay Jenkins' running style is so smooth it looks like a lightning bolt current of electricity slicing down the field with sudden jolts, strikes and cuts on its way to the promised land, leaving a steamy group of ghostly figures in its trail grabbing for nothing but thin air.

*Will Gutz-Bennington - Sensational RB rambled 20 times for 266 yards and 4 touchdowns in the Badgers 47-0 win over Lincoln Standing Bear, elevating over the 1000 Yard Rushing mark for the 3rd straight season.

Tay Tay Jenkins-Omaha Westside-Cruised for 251 yards and 4 TDs on 14 touches in the Warriors 49-7 win over Papillion-LV. That performance lifts him over the rare and coveted 5000 Yard Career Rushing plateau (5,052) and over the 1000 Yard rushing mark for the THIRD time (1,193).

If Trey Sluyter of Oakland-Craig surpasses both the 1000 yard passing AND rushing marks this Friday, he will be the ONLY 8-Man FRESHMAN in HISTORY to pull off that feat. Only one other player, Brandon Holtorf of Prague, did it in 1998 but was playing 6-Man football at the time.
