Rusty McRustface 🙂 Actually, I think it should be called the 1820 bridge. Not only would it acknowledge the @1820Radical martyrs but it would rhyme with another fine Glasgow bridge, The Squinty Bridge 🤣

I don't live in Sighthill but I do represent it so I'm going for the 1820 Martyrs Bridge because 2 of them are buried at Sighthill Cemetery & all are commemorated with a monument.
Pupils and residents in the Sighthill area of Glasgow are being asked to help name a new bridge being created over the M8 motorway.

In spite of the enormity of the Militia’s crime no disciplinary action was taken.
At night the citizens of Greenock rescued the Paisley Radicals, only one of whom was subsequently re-arrested.
