Since 2019 KAS & competent Kashmiri IAS officers are deliberately being elbowed out. There is a concerted effort to undermine local officers both in administration & police. Thereby making them subservient to outside officers lording over them.

Some places don’t just preserve heritage, they make you feel it, breathe it and live it. In the historic lanes of Shere-Khass, Aali Kadal, “Bait-ul-Meeras” does exactly that. Thank you, Nighat Pandith Ji and team, for keeping Kashmir’s cultural soul alive. I came away with a heart full of solace and nostalgia. For a little while, I felt I had found my way back to the Kashmir that lives in our memories, our stories and our souls.

Kashmir’s young restive educated yet unemployed youngsters deserve answers, they deserve dignity & security of livelihood & most importantly justice.
Throughout our lives we are taught merit & hard work is what makes or break our future. Only in Kashmir does merit constitute grounds for punishment in the form of disqualification & disempowerment.
This institutional systematic merit apartheid & extermination of Kashmirs from J&Ks bureaucracy must end.
