The new [new] Tesla Roadster isn't a Roadster really and should be renamed to @Tesla GT, does make more sense and helps take it upmarket @elonmusk @woodhaus2 @larsmoravy 🤔

P. S. : really did like the thruster chamber on the middle of the car, where a traditional engine would go... 🤔👍

Blown away by the new [3.0] @Tesla Roadster, finally an exciting flying car. Demos were nuts; surely not to be flown like that on the streets.
P. S.: At this stage doesn't even matter if it will make in to production, did worth the show. youtube.com/live/qt5p-_tE8d0

P. S. II: "Not seen in any movie" not quite so fast @elonmusk, one of my favourite movie cars is the Starcar in 'The Last Starfighter' because it can travel to other planets (i.e. Rylos). 🤔

Another referenced sports-car nameplate from the past is recycled (againg) for a dreadful EV crossover. In the case of the new Mitsubishi Eclipse Sportback EV it's even worse as it's just a rebadged Nissan Leaf. That's what happens when the accountants take control of a company.
So @Ford is officially returning to the World Rally Championship in 2027... with an used Fiesta?❓🤔🤷
BTW shame on you @OfficialWRC to have dropped the use of homologated road-cars. 👎

Relevant question, why no company is Restomoding the original SAAB 99 [or 900] Turbo?❓🤔
Why not @koenigsegg Christian?❓🤔

One day tech bros will realise that car guys aren't interested at all in 'not to drive'. Hope the coin drops sooner than later as it's getting really annoying now... 🤔👎

BTW @Ford win at LeMans was a tremendous achievement by the company that cemented their Motorsport heritage. The 'Ford vs Ferrari' movie was very truthful to the story. Dare @Tesla to achieve the same... 🤔

Just happens that 0-60 times don't say anything about a car besides it's fast in a straight line. The day a Tesla wins the @24hoursoflemans (that has Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Ferrari, Porsche, Peugeot, Toyota, Mazda and even Ford as former winners) I will pertain attention... 🤔
Really did enjoy the @thegrandtour reboot with the @throttlehouse11 guys @PrimeVideo, more so than the original as the new hosts are more in to cars and less on public personas IMHO. 👍 Was the show renewed for more seasons already? When will the 8th season be released?❓🤔
It seems that the new 'New Beetle' will be made by... Chevrolet. How is the @VWGroup @VW letting that happen?❓🤔

How did I only just learn that their headquarters are shaped like a gecko (their logo)?
So we've new 'knobs' presenting the @amazon @PrimeVideo @thegrandtour... 🤔
P.S.: hope these @throttlehouse11 guys get it right. 🙄

For the revival of the Chevrolet Camaro in 2010 @GM chose to base the design on the 1st generation making it retro.
For the 2nd revival planed for 2028 they should aim style-wise for something more futuristic resembling the mid-eighties and nineties models though. 🤔
Only the biggest car companies in the world made a highly efficient teardrop shape small coupe:
- 1996 GM EV1 (pure EV, 1,117 made);
- 1999 Honda Insight (Petrol-hybrid, 17,020 made);
- 2013 VW XL1 (Diesel-hybrid, 250 made);
- 2027 Tesla Cybercab (pure EV, 20 millions?).
The VW XL1 story is a very interesting one BTW and well put together by @JasonCammisa @Hagerty

The biggest miss by the Cybercab so far is the absence of Turquoise lights, that's becoming a standard to signal to other drivers and road users that a vehicle is in autonomous mode. Tesla should follow the industry and implement it. 🤔
