As Global X analyst @BrookeThackray explained to viewers on this morning's @BNNBloomberg "The Street"📺 this year's unwarranted pullback in the #Uranium sector is leading some investors to think that the #Nuclear Renaissance is fading when in fact the opposite is true... "it's just getting started."📶⚛️⚡️🌎 Brooke thinks investors will see that in next Friday's Cameco earnings with some upside surprise. He sees the strong positive news flow boosting the value of Cameco's imminent Westinghouse IPO💰⤴️ which could be a catalyst for a Uranium sector recovery rally that could see it outperform the S&P 500, as it usually does during this period of typically strong seasonality into next year.📈⚛️⛏️🤞🤠🐂
The nuclear renaissance has been full speed ahead these past few days 🤘 • The Nuclear Co proposes six-reactor Kentucky plant • Finland licenses permanent nuclear waste disposal site • Indiana studies up to 6 GW CANDU project • AEP + Amazon + X-energy 960 MW SMR plant in Indiana • Navy selects Radiant for NWS, Indiana • Westinghouse $1B LEU+ fuel fab facility • NRC updates AP1000 design certification • Slovakia’s Mochovce 4 grid connection • Bangladesh’s Rooppur 1 initial criticality • DOE offers Vistra $4.2B loan for uprates • Centrus buys Westerman • Oklo advances Groves-2 Forge isotope facility under NELP • Rosatom signs floating nuclear power deal for Indonesia • US–SK Project Power for 8 reactors • NRC drafts EIS for four AP1000s in Texas

👨‍🏫For the past month the #Uranium sector has been caught in a broad 'risk off' trade😱 that's hammered #mining #stocks... gold, silver, copper, rare earths, lithium⛏️⤵️🗑️ as US Treasury yields soaring to 24 year highs triggered a flight to the safety of cash💵🦺 while U prices remained rock solid.💲🪨 U need to understand that the U space is tiny🦐 and far less liquid than other metals & energy sectors🧊 which creates far higher share price volatility🎢🔃 that can be strongly decoupled from the commodity price🔀 and the extremely bullish #Nuclear demand vs supply fundamentals that are the best they've been in decades!🌊⚛️📰🐂🏄 Traders and institutional investors tend to put their Uranium positions into the same basket as other metals & mining🧺⛏️ and in their Energy basket too🧺🛢️☢️ so when they head for the exits and start redeeming their baskets of stocks, funds and ETFs, it has an especially oversized impact on U stocks in an indiscriminate dumping into the market👶🛁⤵️🚽 that is divorced from extremely bullish U sector & company fundamentals and unchanged asset values.💎🐂🙈 This "sell first, ask questions later" action by traders is what creates these extreme share price swings⏬🎡 that, for those with cash looking to position into the best opportunity there is today across the commodities space, is an answer to prayers for some🙏😇 and a gut punch to others.🥴💥🥊 It's important to understand when it's macroeconomic factors and geopolitical events that are wreaking havoc in the markets and driving down share prices for no real fundamental reason.🤔 That is exactly what contrarian investors are looking for as it creates deeply asymmetric buying opportunities where the downside risk is small⬇️ compared to the many multiples of upside potential that beaten down U stocks hold!⏫⏫🎁😊 Wishing U good luck with your trades!☘️🛒🤠🐂
Hey #Uranium fam!👋🤠 I was flying over Europe at 32,000 feet on Friday so I missed the day's trading action✈️ but I see from the closing share prices that U #stocks showed some signs of a new bottom forming at deeply oversold discount prices relative to their valuations.🛫⚛️😊🐂

Definitely an interesting wildcard in the uranium supply equation. If SuperCritical can prove the economics at scale, pulling uranium from seawater changes the conversation considerably.

It has historically taken ~20 years from discovery to first production to develop a uranium mine. @1SuperCritical solves this. American uranium for the American nuclear renaissance.

Unfolding market and policy developments continue to reinforce the view of sellers that demand is outstripping currently available supply in the near term and will continue to do so," said TradeTech President Treva Klingbiel🗜️⚛️⛽🛒🤠🐂 #UraniumSqueeze 🌊🏄 uranium.info/press_releases.…

Benjamin's statement is brilliantly insightful, but demands an important follow-on observation: Building a nuclear reactor is about to get a whole LOT easier and faster, thanks to @AaloAtomics and others prioritizing factory mass-production and elimination of bespoke on-site construction. But building a Uranium mine is NOT going to get any easier. That means the rapidly increasing demand from mass-produced reactors will never be satisfied by rapidly increasing supply from factory mass-produced uranium mines. The consequences reach beyond the immediate investment window, but they will be staggering when they ultimately unfold. None of it is unsolvable. Breeder reactors could run for centuries on the LEFT OVER tails from enrichment of fuel for current and past reactors. The best designs don't need ANY enriched uranium after their initial fuel load. Terra Power has a cool design they call TWR that can run for 500 years on the depleted uranium tails that were left over from enriching its FIRST AND LAST enriched fuel load needed to "kick-start" the breeding process that replaces fissile fuels with fertile fuels. The long-standing view of the Nuclear Old Guard that breeders don't need to be commercialized yet because we're decades away from uranium scarcity becoming an issue is horribly flawed. The first company to mass-produce breeders fueled by U-238 or Th-232 will change the course of history. And of all the many stupid beliefs in the Nuclear Old Guard Narrative, by far the most ignorant is the frequently repeated statement that Breeders have proven themselves not be economic for commercial electricity generation. That's just the most intellectually arrogant co-hort on the planet flaunting their own ignorance. The correct conclusion to draw is that the people and companies who pioneered the first breeders thought and acted like NASA. We need something closer to SpaceX to make breeders economic, and the fact that relying on cost-plus government contractors to do all the heavy lifting led to a commercially uneconomic outcome should surprise nobody. Breeders will change the course of history. The Nuclear Old Guard won't be the ones to commercialize them. But I digress. The point of this post was supposed to be, mining is hard, and won't get easier. Mass-producing reactors will solve a bunch of problems, but only mass-produced breeders can solve the coming uranium supply crisis of the mid-late 2030s. Until then, we don't have enough uranium mines, and we can't make more of them as easily as we can increase the pace of reactor production.
It's easier to build a nuclear reactor than a uranium mine. New ep with @uraniuminsider just dropped.

This has been in the works for years but does appear to be gaining steam. Perfect use for nuclear tech. Not sure how “soon” this happens, but to be clear, we’re modeling for zero demand from this segment…so all “right tail.”

The uranium market is structurally broken. Nearly 60% of global production comes from just two countries: - Canada: ~15% - Kazakhstan: ~43% The problem... Kazakhstan alone is expected to lose ~80% of production over the next 20 years from existing mines, exactly as global demand doubles. - Supply is shrinking. - Demand is surging Uranium remains a high-conviction, long-term winner.
