For Long Igbo youths have been yearning to join the military, But it seems there are limited slots allocated to them. Many years ago, I can remember a lot of guys back then wished to join the army but don’t ever get selected. At some point they lost interest. The very people we admired were maltreatingvus Back home. You’ll hear countless stories of soldiers in okigwe, Aba, Orlu, Umuahia 😩( this happened at bank road, a boy was gunned down for wearing a gucci branded shirt alleged to be a Biafran flag.
I can’t forget days of serious gunshots at Afara, at the home of Nnamdi Kanu, a lot of boys were …. Just to arrest one man. The same people we admired were killing us just for our identity.

You know some of these punishments could have happened privately and no one would know about it but it just had to be a spectacle. It made the news. A lot of military action in our towns but people are dying in mass up north from insecurity. Doesnt add up.
