Quick breakdown since upgrading from my diesel 2009 ford ranger to the EV Misso as a work truck (still waiting for the canopy from Korea though)
My old Ranger used to use $15/100km so at $3/L that’s $45 per 100km
My Musso uses 23kwh per 100km and at home charging I pay 30c/kwh so roughly $7/100km
So it costs 1/7th of the Ranger to run, I also get free servicing for 3 years (even though there’s bugger all to actually service)
AND fir long term use there’s less than 1/5th of the Rangers moving parts across the car.
It’s literally better in every way and this is just the first model just wait 5 years.
Anyone that doesn’t thing EV’s are the future doesn’t understand the engineering or maths behind them
Yesterdays man still playing with yesterdays ideas.
Back to the climate wars because it worked out so well last time.

Stick to canoodling with Russia and North Korea you nongs.
Canada is lost. This is what the Left does. Socialism at home is never enough.
By embracing Communist China, and now Turkey, PM Carney has turned his back on America & made clear that Canada sides with dictators, terrorists & thugs who threaten the security of the U.S. & sovereignty of our allies.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Turkey is a NATO ally of both the United States and Canada since 1952. Official Canadian statements describe the new Strategic Partnership with Türkiye as deepening cooperation between the two NATO allies on trade, energy, defence and security.

President Xi’s aim is to make the world dependent on China, while China depends on no one.
Without a coalition of countries to counter it, he will succeed.

we know because data, EV batteries last as long as the car itself. Even with this data and real world evidence. My MiEV is 17 yrs old this yr on its original battery, the stupid myth of EVs needs battery replacement (insert timeframe here) still persist. insideevs.com/news/809604/ca…

Another weak #Insiders program…having Sheridan on makes it excruciating for starters…but how do you discuss the Intergenerational Report without mentioning climate change is just woeful;

EVs won’t work! Electric trucks won’t work! Electric farm equipment won’t work…. Blah blah blah. All excuses and no solutions.
Well. Diesel hitting $4 going to work?
Electrify.
Australia is uniquely exposed to this diesel price shock given our reliance on imported product which is by far the highest in the world, not as a % of GDP or per capita but outright. This comes as other countries have scaled back imports and Australia's have accelerated due in part to refinery closures.

If we’re going to build suburbs, let’s build them like this!
Brabazon on the outskirts of Bristol has a density of 75 homes per hectare, triple the usual. It was originally planned for 2,000 homes but will now see 6,500 built
There’s start up offices, parks, trees, a lake…

Great article describing the cost of Australia's reliance on oil imports and how it's been impacted by Trump's war in Iran. Oil Import cost in Mar-Aug has increased from $26b in 2025 to $43b in 2026.
About $10b of that $17b increase was due to diesel.
