@JohnSwinney @theSNP 1/2 Unless you communicate, consult & collaborate with the PVI sector. We provide over 90% of places for under 3s. You need us on side and working with you. Don’t make the same mistakes you did with 1140hrs. Speak to us. Take us with you.

2/2 Don’t try to nationalise childcare behind our backs. Create a national funding body, value our staff, value the services we provide to communities. Fund it properly to allow pay harmony & remember what ever you do it’s funded not free and someone has to pay?

Wonderful to see that a council is capable of doing good for their children. How about an update on our rates ? @SouthLanCouncil @SLCEarlyLearn

This is excellent. If only other LA's would follow suit. Funding should follow the child 💯

Brilliant to see the sector supported with a rate to help funded providers thrive! £1.59 more per hour than PKC council (that’s nearly 25% more!!!) @PerthandKinross @CarolineShiers

Don’t forget nursery PVI sector which will be extremely hard hit by NI increase. We are already a very underfunded sector, once again our Nursery Parents will be expected to take the hit, impacting on their families @2020Together

More uncertainty, more concern within the ELC sector yet again. There are already far too many challenges within our ELC, the biggest being we may be being heard but we are certainly not being listened too, when will this change?

The most confusing aspect is that the sector got the opportunity to consult on previous document, why not now? 🤔 Engagement sessions cannot possibly be effective if the document is not released sooner?

Normally in the commercial world the customer is always right. It seems when the customer expresses a view that’s counter to the perceived wisdom it’s frowned upon.U need 2 listen 2the feedback, be open, transparent and welcoming to our views.Don’t hide, embrace & act

It is imperative that when consulting all parties have the relevant informationn to consult on. If we do not have the document before the consultation then it is CI bigging up their agenda - this is not transparent or helpful. Listen to ur audience please.
