We are in the midst of a tectonic geopolitical and technological shift not seen in generations. As the world changes, countries are building their industrial, technological, and defense capabilities to safeguard sovereignty, and investing at unprecedented levels in sovereign infrastructure.
How should sovereign infrastructure be defined, prioritized, and financed? Which countries and institutions are in the lead and which are falling behind? And what are the pathways to cooperation?
To answer these questions, 2040 World hosted a high-level roundtable yesterday at the Harvard Club of New York, bringing together sovereign funds, investment firms, governments, global organizations, and industry & technology Leaders. @G42ai served as a convening partner.
This is just the beginning of the conversation.

The Business of Mobility: Florida's Growth Depends on How We Move.
On Monday, October 19, the Economic Club of Miami brought together an extraordinary group of business and policy leaders at The Rusty Pelican in Key Biscayne for an important conversation about one of Florida's most pressing challenges: How do we move people and goods more efficiently as our state continues to grow?
Our panel featured Caryn Seidman Becker, Chairman & CEO of CLEAR; Patrick Goddard, CEO of Brightline Trains; Jonathan Daniels, CEO of PortMiami; and Miami-Dade County Commissioner Roberto J. Gonzalez, with entrepreneur and policy leader Erika Donalds moderating the discussion.
One message was clear: Growth without infrastructure becomes congestion.
Miami has the airport, the seaport, the rail infrastructure, and the technology. What we need is a more coordinated vision that connects these assets into one seamless transportation system.
With more than 150 attendees, including members of the Economic Club of Miami, four state legislators, a mayor, and a city commissioner, the room reflected the importance of this conversation to Florida's economic future.
This is exactly what the Economic Club of Miami is all about: bringing influential leaders together, not just into the same room, but onto the same stage to tackle the issues that will shape our region's future.
If you weren't in the room on Monday, make sure you're there next time!
We'll return to Key Biscayne on Wednesday, November 18, for another important conversation featuring Eric Silagy, Vice Chairman of Related Ross, and Michael Simas, President & CEO of the Florida Council of 100, as we explore what's next for Florida's growth and how we turn that momentum into lasting opportunity.
Florida won the last decade. Now what?
We hope you'll join us! More information on membership can be found here: econclubmiami.org/membership…

What is the future of war? In a world where there is a rise in hard power there will also be more vacuums of power. @peterbergencnn argues this will lead to a rise in substate groups & raises Haiti where military contractors are wielding armed drones
