Imagine if we did school the way we did youth sports. Think we'd wake up if our kids weren't allowed to read? #PhysicalLiteracy #nodifferent

We don't post much on this platform anymore, but seems worth saying - we are doing our first of two days of training and programming in Nairobi, Kenya tomorrow after hugely successful similar trainings in Kitwe, Zambia last week. 2-4-1 Africa is really happening!!
As we celebrated #nationalsportsamplingday here in the United States, we received this great message from our Camp Director in Zambia!
Maybe next year, we will declare it #internationalsportsamplingday

It was year 11 at our flagship location and was so fun to have so many staff that started with us as campers! – at West Hartford, CT
Coach Billing - while he doesn’t need titles - deserves any accolades he receives. Regardless of what sport it is - this guy deserves National Coach of the Year honors. The sport doesn’t matter here - he truly coaches kids and impacts lives in amazing ways along the way!! – at Denver, CO
Happy Father's Day from 2-4-1 and the DICK's Sporting Goods Foundation - one of our many supporters! Please take advantage of the 20% off this weekend and get out there and play!!!

We are really enjoying using the @DenverDOTI neighborhood bikeways to get to @241Sports camp at South High School this week! Today is crazy sock day.

Nothing more rewarding than sharing my love for running with the youth! Special shoutout to @241Sports and @HartbeatTc for showing these kiddos that they can find community, fun, lessons, and so much more, in sports. ♥️
It’s official! Summer is here!!!
As we finish up our school-based programs in Connecticut, we opened up our first camp of the summer season @gastondayschool just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina!
(And two hours later in Lafayette, Colorado)
2-4-1 is grateful to be among the recipients awarded by Hartford Foundation for Public Giving for these extremely important and generous grants, which will allow us to reach more kids in the Hartford region to benefit from our approach to putting play back into sports!
Summer is just around the corner and the Hartford Foundation is supporting dozens of summer programs for more than 7,000 young people in Greater Hartford.

Bringing a multisport mission to a conference focused on a single sport! We appreciate that @usabasketball and @jrnba values playing more than one sport! We’re here to help make that happen at the grassroots level!
There is joy in #running when it’s presented with joy!

As we expand globally, we realize more than ever that all good work is done locally -- and that whereever we go -- kids are kids!
Don't forget that.
