Football is such a taxing sport compared to others, they get 1-2 months “off” and even then it’s a very strict time off following a set routine / diet / training plan.

This is why I think top 5 is still possible, as much as I love Carrick and wanted him to succeed, he was horrible at his job. There’s obvious blame on INEOS / Glazers but coaching wise, Carrick has been embarrassing. Let’s see what they do in Jan because a LB / CB is needed.

Find the way people judge players so binary. Two years ago Mbeumo & Cunha were regarded as two of the best attackers in the league. Tielemans has been one of the best & most consistent CMs in the league past few yrs. Now they’re all apparently shite, with zero nuance as to *why*
