Well we attempted a story picnic today! Hard to see but the kiddos loved reading a story together and eating snacks - we even got to share all our pets again. Thankful for virtual connections! @WCPS72 @BentleySchool1
Our fraction unit was all about pancakes this week! I think the smiles say it all! Love this unit and the real life experiences we can integrate in. @WCPS72 @BentleySchool1
Starting a baking/cooking show with my students for our fraction unit! Here’s just the ending part of my video I made for them! Sooo much fun but wish we were baking together at school! @WCPS72 @BentleySchool1
We tried something new today! In our class meet, we tried out a game of kahoot! You should have seen the smiles I got when I told them that was what we were going to play! #distancelearning @WCPS72 @BentleySchool1
A perfect end to a busy day! Glad to be able to still enjoy our backyard with the craziness of the world going on! #NotTodayCorona
Still receiving snail mail from a student from two years ago! This makes me smile ❤️❤️ missing my @IREC1 kiddos and families ❤️ @NiKkI_White_070 @WCPS72
My heart is full! Started up reading conferences with my students this week and I haven’t seen some of them this excited to read to me all year! Followed up with parent emails to fill them in and give them a shoutout for their hard work! @WCPS72 @BentleySchool1 #NotTodayCorona
Today is the day! A day to be thankful for technology to connect with students, the sunshine is shining in, my garden is starting to sprout and many more! A big shoutout to all the teachers I know for giving it your all with this major change! 🥰 @WCPS72 @BentleySchool1

Merry Christmas! We appreciate all our police officers, fire fighters and snow plow truck drivers and all they do for us! Thank you! @WCPS72 @RCMPAlberta
Don't their beaming faces say it all? The kids were so excited to drop off cards and treats at our fire station. We had a tour, learned a lot and got to try out some things! #12daysofkindness @BentleySchool1 @WCPS72
We are spreading kindness during our 12 days of kindness! Learning ways to give and spread joy with those around us! @BentleySchool1 @WCPS72
Our 12 days of kindness began yesterday! Ready to spread some love! @BentleySchool1
What a treat it was to have a former student of @BentleySchool1 to come and share his love for rocks and fossils. He taught us many new things and we got to see many neat fossils! #handsonlearning #socialstudies #engaged @WCPS72
Exploring Google My Maps to complete one of our social projects. They love adding tech to our projects! @BentleySchool1
Let the mining begin! This inspired our excellent discussion on how difficult it is to get fossil fuels out of the ground without damaging the land! This was a blast! @BentleySchool1 @WCPS72
When @GoogleHangout doesn't work for us we improvise and adjust our plans! We are using @googledocs to chat with our pen pals across Alberta! The kids were so excited! 😁 @WCPS72 @BentleySchool1
