Seeing the narrative slowly change about Kuminga in real time and watching people come to the realization that Steve Kerr is the main villain in the Kuminga saga warms my cold heart.

Bruce Branch continues to flash his passing acumen. BYU has used him as their pseudo point guard when Robert Wright is on the bench.
The poise and processing have been impressive so far.
13 assists and two turnovers through two exhibition games.
If he can be used as a point wing, that changes the fabric of his evaluation for me.

Jaylen Brown's response to Jayson Tatum's comment about them not having any beef:
"He got a great PR team. There's no beef but there might be a little lamb chops with some gravy."

In light of Cayden Daughtry's season opener I wanted to put into perspective just how ridiculous his summer was, and how he compares to a few recent 1-and-done guards.
Although its a long ways until the '28 draft, Daughtry is right on pace to be in the league sooner than later

This first-grade teacher says 100% of her students went to kindergarten, and almost all of them have both parents at home. A bunch of them even went to pre-K. Yet somehow these kids still can’t write the alphabet or count.
She can’t fail them. She can’t hold them back. So they just keep getting pushed to the next grade, year after year.
No Child Left Behind was the biggest disaster the education system has ever produced, and parents have stopped parenting, expecting schools to do it all for their children.

Joe Mazzulla says the Celtics analytics staff studied situations where teams led by at least 20 over the last decade.
He says that when you’re up by 20 in today’s game, not only is growing that to 30 not a realistic expectation, but due to variance, you’re really up by 15.
It will most likely shrink to 6 or 7. It comes down to how you then handle that situation.
