You’re right. Junyoung truly earned every bit of his success the hard way. Building his career brick by brick since he was just 17, it took a full decade of relentless effort before he finally received the recognition he deserves. He gave up his youth for his dreams, once constantly juggling singing and acting simultaneously rushing from film sets to UNB group promotions, then flying overseas for U-KISS schedules. I can’t even imagine how exhausting that must have been. In a way, his current military service is the first real “rest” he’s had since his debut. and that’s why when someone said they’re upset that junyoung had to enlist right now while he’s at the peak of his career, i had to disagree. this is in fact the best time for him to finally get that rest that’s long overdue.
also when he transitioned to full-time acting, he could have easily taken the comfortable route and done just one project a year to avoid burnout. Instead, driven by pure passion and ambition, he seized every opportunity. He even took on three projects at once, a challenge so mentally and physically draining that he admitted he could NEVER do it again. What I respect most is his willingness to take on risky, unconventional roles purely to hone his craft, placing his growth as an actor above commercial success or safe choices. His resilience, discipline, and mindset make him so much more than just my favorite actor… he’s truly deserved to be a role model fr.

Long time fans of junyoung, you guys chose the right artist to admire. I wish I knew him sooner. From what I've read so far, junyoung really had to earn (with great difficulty) everything he has right now. I'm a film enthusiast and can definitely tell you that he's world-class

junyoung did struggle and had to work since he was a minor because of his family’s financial problems. but by that point he was already financially stable so he did it solely to enhance his craft's versatility
