Quick update! 🚨 I’m changing from “MAC To PAC Radio” to something that I feel fits my true passion and who I am; The Working Fan! I’m now going by “2nd Shift Sports”! I will still be focused on Mid-Major Hoops & FCS/G6 Football! I will have content on here and on YouTube and more updates in the really near future! Really excited for this, thank you everyone with me so far! Going to keep building!

Always amazing content from @UpdogSportsTalk! Can’t wait for these, especially that UTRGV & Big Sky preview!

It’s the #NIT2026 Semifinals tonight! 4 incredible basketball teams playing. Barnstable has been awesome for Tulsa all tournament & same goes for Fr. Jake Hall on New Mexico! Auburn is out to prove they should’ve been in the NCAAT and it’s been fun to watch. Illinois State just continues to impress with Pence and Kinziger leading the way. Can’t wait for tonight!

Tulsa vs. New Mexico is going to be an awesome game! And the Redbirds have been on fire playing an Auburn team who is also playing great ball. I can’t wait for next Thursday! 📝 Tulsa’s Sr. G Miles Barnsdale has been great all tournament. 13, 16, then 24 points in his last game! Shoots 40+% from 3PT! 📝 New Mexico’s Fr. G Jake Hall is having a great tournament as well. 14, 19, and 24 points for the freshman. Also lights out from 3PT (45.1% on the year!). 📝 Chase Walker & Johnny Kinziger have been excellent for the Redbirds during the #NIT2026 Walker just achieved 1,000 total career points in his last game! Can’t wait for April 2nd!

Won the CBI last year and they just keep moving on up! They retained tons of key pieces and the breakout is clear! Great win by the Redbirds!

Shockers @ Golden Hurricane. ESPN2. Now.

Tuesday means #NIT2026 Quarterfinals! Tonight we have two great matchups; Wichita St./Tulsa 📝 Both these teams won their games pretty handily last round. Shockers won by 26 @ OKST & Tulsa beat UNLV by 11 at home. Shockers and Golden Hurricane should be good! Saint Joseph’s/New Mexico 📝 New Mexico is rolling. Crushed their first two opponents by 24 then 25! Saint Joseph’s wont quit. 19 point comeback against Cal brought them here. The Pit is a different animal. Can’t wait for this one! Enjoy the games, folks!

This is legitimately wild. I never thought I’d see the day he’d leave. But ASU would be the one spot.

Amazing stuff here. Beautiful really.

What an incredible job by Coach Konkol. He did a great job at Louisiana Tech and now he’s turned this Golden Hurricane program around! From 13 wins last season to 27(!!) this season! The fantastic season for @TulsaMBB continues on! #NIT2026 - #ReignCane

How about @Redbird_MBB! What a comeback win. Ty Pence & Johnny Kinziger led the way (23 & 19 PTS respectively). Kinziger with the CLUTCH 3 to win it! This is why #NIT2026 is the best!

Yes. Ive been of the belief for awhile we need two playoffs. Top 12/16 whatever teams and then a G6 exclusive playoff. It’s fun when the G6 teams make it, but will they ever be able to compete with teams that are spending so much for talent at the P4 level? Start a tournament you and your peers can actually win. Give the fans something to keep them going deeper into the season. Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I think it would benefit the G6 schools.

Here we go! #NIT2026 Sunday! 6 awesome games tonight. I’m really looking forward to UNLV/Tulsa. UNLV used a balanced scoring attack to beat UC Irvine & Tulsa’s Ade Popoola really stepped up and helped win their game in OT vs Stephen F. Austin. Also, let’s see how George Washington handles The Pit. New Mexico has such an awesome home court w/ great fans. Tough road environment for anyone And we end the night with Saint Joseph’s vs. Cal. Only thing I’d change is the start time to 10pm ET! (Love late night games!) Enjoy your Sunday everyone! And as always enjoy College Hoops!

These tournament games are absolutely electric!!! Nebraska might get their first TWO wins ever in the NCAAT! What. A. Game. #MarchMadness

Finally! More #NIT2026 action! Both game tonight should be good watches! Dayton/UNC Wilmington 📝 Dayton’s Sr. G Javon Bennett was excellent in their first NIT game. 25PTS, 0 turnovers, 5/10 from 3PT! UNCW Won their first game against Yale with a balanced attack, 4 players with 10+ points! Liberty/Nevada 📝 This one has an elite guard matchup. Nevada’s Sr. G Corey Camper Jr. (17.0PTS, 41% 3PT, 4.5REB) up against Liberty So. G Brett Decker Jr. (16.8PTS & 47.3% from 3PT!!). Excellent games from The National Invitational Tournament! Everyone enjoy their days, and enjoy the best sport in the world, college basketball!

Great hire by Georgia Tech. Every season at Troy the Trojans improved. From 9-22 first season to 22-12 this season. Excellent coach, tough gig in the ACC, but he’s more than capable of turning the Yellow Jackets around. #StingEm

Awesome article! Stuff like this makes this sport so special. Love it. #FinsUp

I think the program is in a really good spot now! Even with Coach Fennell leaving, I think the Vaqueros can pick up right where they left off. Program on the rise. Bring in the right hire here and keep key roster pieces and just keep it rolling! #RallyTheValley

Round 2! Right off the bat we got a potential banger in Santa Clara/Kentucky. Oh and we got 2 #MACtion games! RedHawks vs. Tennessee & Zips vs. Texas Tech Yesterday is going to be tough to beat, let’s see what today brings us!
