The player wage bills of League One clubs for the 2026/27 season. 💰⚽ Leicester City are reportedly spending a staggering £35 MILLION a year on player wages, almost FOUR TIMES as much as the next highest spenders, Luton Town (£9.6m). At the other end of the scale, Bromley are estimated to spend just £2.88m annually. The financial gap between clubs in the same division is absolutely enormous. 🤯

George pretty much sums things up in his assessment of the club. It was a pity the discussion didn’t carry on and dig deeper into things. We can talk about the headlines, lack of investment, recruitment, management, players but more important for me is the lack of care #wafc

@PKendrickWIG can you ask ACJ the question about SCMP? I’m more confused after the Fans Forum. They said that the Warriors revenue and stadium revenue was recognised, in our SCMP. They don’t though go into our P&L? #wafc 1/2

Looking at it for ages and these are the only conclusion I can get to. a) they aren’t being truthful, b) they don’t know what they are talking about or c) under the current Group structure Latics still own the stadium. Comparison on how owning/renting a stadium impacts SCMP. 2/2

Enjoyed the fans forum last night and probably the best we’ve had because the fans have started to challenge the panel. Small steps, it’s all new but going forward we’ll improve and continue to hold the owners to account. #wafc 1/4

They said we have 6-6.5K ST holders and said we should expect about 10% to be in corporate every game (some average?) Our average is 138 so we need another 500+. Is corporate and another +1/2k fans gonna have a huge impact to help us kick on? #wafc 3/4

You have a choice go or don’t go. Little will change for me. What would we need to kick on? We know if what’s served up is poor folk don’t go which will have a big impact. I’m in the camp of meeting mates having a few scoops and enjoying people’s company along the way # 4/4

Fans Forum, this still stands for me, get involved. I hope the ‘fan groups’ if that’s what they are turn up and a younger demographic attend #wafc

Best thing to do is get involved. Fan forums are never perfect and I have my doubts and still do to a point. What I can say is that I got to ask a question from the open mic last time out Problem is you can’t ask a follow on question if you aren’t happen with the response.
