PLEASE READ THIS. ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE FIGHTING A BATTLE YOU DON'T THINK YOU CAN WIN. ❤️ I'm posting this in case someone reads this that's me in 2010 with dark thoughts about putting their plan in place. In 2010, I used to live on the 14th floor of this building in downtown Calgary. One night, I had come home from a night of 7-8 pitchers of beer and was just standing on my balcony looking down at the traffic. I was single, alone, and struggling with my mental health. I looked down and thought to myself, "Would anyone even give a sh*t if I leaped off here?" Thankfully, I didn't, but it was after that I started to look into getting help. Two years after that, I became a dad; five years after that, I set out on my mission to lose 100lbs, which I succeeded in doing. On my 51st birthday, I made it four without being intoxicated and down 188lbs in total. When I look at my life now, having published two inspirational children's books and hosting a podcast for over a year featuring others stories of overcoming things, writing a new children's book for families struggling with addiction with my love @Amandapanchuk82 I am so proud. I used to wonder a lot why my life was spared in 1994, but it's very clear now. If you're out there struggling, reach out to someone, talk to anyone, and remember you're not alone. I have shared parts of this story a few times before, and once I captioned it with "I have never shared this moment of weakness before." @heylandsberg replied and said, "That wasn't a moment of weakness; that was one of the greatest moments of strength you've ever had." Sometimes I still go and look up this address on Google maps and just think about how far I've come. That has stuck with me ever since. I hope this post inspires someone out there to get help or reach out to someone it is worth it. Please, if you're that person, don't suffer in silence. Reach out. Let someone stand beside you until you can see a little light again. You may not see the reason to keep going today. But one day, you might look back and be so thankful that you did. ❤️

I’m so proud of what my love is doing with his 30 Minutes of Fame podcast. He’s welcomed so many incredible, talented and inspiring guests on his show I’ve seen the heart he puts into these episodes and conversations and how much it means to him to give others a place to be heard. He’s looking for sponsors to help keep those conversations going. For $24 CAD, you can sponsor an entire month of the podcast, with a shoutout for your business, brand, book, or X account on each episode that month. Your support would help him continue making room for honest conversations and stories that deserve to be heard. If you’re interested, please reach out to @30MinsofFame. If sponsoring isn’t possible, sharing this post would mean just as much Thank you!❤️
Want to be a sponsor 30 Minutes of Fame? I love bringing you conversations with interesting and inspiring, people, incredible stories, and guests from all walks of life. There's one thing I'd love to change to take the pod to a new level: those dreaded 30-minute Zoom time limits! I'm looking for a few friends, entrepreneurs, business owners, and supporters who'd like to help keep the conversations going. For $24 CAD, you can sponsor an entire month of the @30MinsofFame podcast. That's approximately four episodes, and I'll give your business, brand, book, or X account a shoutout on every show that month. It's a small way to support an independent podcast and get your name in front of some great people. Interested? Drop me a DM or an email. Let's keep the conversations going! 🎙️

Excuse me while my heart completely overflows with love and gratitude for this incredible woman of mine. Two years ago, a simple book review somehow brought her into my life, and not a single day has passed that I haven’t thanked God for that beautiful, unexpected gift. She has walked the most courageous journey, losing over 170 pounds, in recovery 16 years and through every hard step, her spirit only grew brighter. She has the biggest, softest heart, and from the moment we met she has been my greatest cheerleader, my safe place, and the quiet inspiration that makes me want to be better every single day. 😍@Amandapanchuk82 😍

Beautifully said. And it was your podcast, the guests you had on, and you yourself that inspired me to be more open about my own journey so thank you for that ♥️🧩🦋

There are times when I look at my @30MinsofFame numbers and feel a little discouraged, wondering if it's all making a difference. Then I watch @brethart call me a "Die Hard" and say I'm "one of those guys like him who never quits", and it reminds me WHY I do this. The numbers might not always show it, but the impact is real. So I'll keep fighting, keep sharing, and keep putting these incredible stories out into the world. Because if even ONE life is touched, it's all worth it.

Every subscription, every share, and every person who listens helps these powerful stories reach someone who may need them most. youtube.com/@30MinuteFame
A fellow podcaster friend of mine said to me today "My podcast gets over 10k downloads a month how is yours doing?" My reply : Well I got to interview one of the paramedics that saved my life, a Veteran walking across the country to raise awareness for PTSD, A blind comedian who was able to get glasses that gave his vision back, A lady that formed a singing group of special needs people get booked for two months worth of concerts, A Boxer, A Miss America pageant that shared their stories for the first time online. I had several independent artists that were nervous about sharing their stories write entire albums to about their journeys to inspire others to get help. And then there’s my amazing lady. @Amandapanchuk82 She didn’t just share her recovery story publicly for the first time. She found the courage to step behind the microphone with me, co-host several episodes, and eventually sit beside me as a guest to share her journey with the world. That’s not just content. That’s courage. That’s healing. That’s people finding their voices. That’s lives being changed. you can’t always measure impact with analytics. Sometimes, the most important thing you’ll ever do won’t show up on a single dashboard.
