Had the amazing opportunity to be the PA Announcer for today's @landrumbaseball game vs Woodruff at @Spartanburgers_ Fifth Third Park today!

Grateful to Woodruff who was the home team today for their trust in allowing me to call the game, our @coachhenson18 for everything he did to get our boys the chance to play in this beautiful stadium and to the Spartanburgers staff for all their hospitality and assistance.

Also shared the booth today with @J_Math23 who did the same for Chapman and @FerrellonFM983 showed me around the place beforehand.

GOOD MORNING from downtown Spartanburg. It’s a great day for baseball at Fifth Third Park!
1 PM — Boiling Springs vs @CHSBaseball1954 (PA announcer: 👋)
5 PM — @landrumbaseball vs Woodruff (PA announcer: @30middle)
Come out to the ballpark & enjoy a game!
I personally saw a 2A region in 2019 with 3 future D1, P4 arms. There were six total D1 arms in playoffs that year. 2A can ball. Overall maybe not as deep year in and year out but there are some good ball players.
Two years ago I said I hoped that, in time, the girls would come to appreciate what it truly means just to play in a state championship game. Reaching that stage is an accomplishment few ever experience.
Congratulations @LandrumGBB the @schsl Class AA Girls Basketball State Champion🏀🏆

Today, they returned to that stage. What once fueled their determination has now been fulfilled. The lessons, the hard work, the growth, and the belief all led to this moment. They didn’t just come back to play in the game again — they came back and won it.
And in doing so, they didn’t just achieve a dream… they set the standard for every player who will follow, showing what is possible when experience, youth, and relentless determination come together.

To answer my own question from actually reading the rules. Rule doesnt go into effect until at or after halftime
I wonder if there is no running clock in @SCHSL Class AAAAA-D2 game due to TV AD breaks. +42 is supposed to trigger running clock except for injuries and timeouts. I thought new rules meant coaches couldn't refuse.
