My thoughts from SIUE’s win over ASU: 1. Tyler King looks like a bonafide STAR in this league. Felt different from every other player on the court and dominated when he had the ball. 2. Jordan Pickett will be a solid secondary scorer for the Cougars for now. Made some big shots when it counted. 3. I have to see more from everyone else. You can’t depend on Tyler King to be dominant every single game, and I feel like he will have to shoulder a lot of the load until other players can step up. 4. Gianni Cobb had some very high highs (hit the game-winner), but also had some rough stretches. I think he really found himself as a playmaker in the offense in those stretches where he couldn’t buy a bucket. 5. Brennan Miller did EXACTLY what he was recruited for: rebound the basketball.
