When I was a child I thought we were rich cause we had HBO and 2 vehicles. Found out my dad stole the hbo/max & the 2nd vehicle belonged to the city. Now I'm old, poor, & eat Ramen 🍜 while I watch hbo on my phone. Life is cruel

I live in a ~450ft sq ft apartment. I just had a 20 min battle with a bat. Idk how it got in here but I reign as the victor!! No matter how many "womanly" screams the downstairs neighbors may have heard, I fought bravely! But there has been a new fear unlocked

Guy who lived in basement apartment died 2 days ago. His family came to collect his belongings today. They literally threw 80%+ in the garbage. They left with 2 totes and a few garbage bags. Tragic, but probably what would be salvaged from my crib
