Busy days of data collecting! We watched the final March Madness game of 2024 with Stanford vs. Iowa and collected the data (starting at the 58-min mark). Then, we created a pictograph to display the data. Throw in some of our own shots...FUN!

Happy Diwali to all those who celebrate! This festival of lights celebrates the victory of good over evil, and light over darkness. 🎆 🪔

Yes, it is 9:00 am, but when a student brings in freshly made samosas (one of my favorite foods), you eat them right away, right?

Happy Diwali! 🎆
In September, I found a sensory wall that was being sold for over $1000. I wanted one for our classroom, but thought I could make it myself for less. Took some time, and with help from @MrHennigar, it was finished today! @westbedfordPP_6
A few amazingly sweet girls brought me some cookies after school...it was such an honor to coach a great group of female athletes @WBH_HRCE again this year! Now, to get more females involved in school soccer for next year would be an awesome GOAL to achieve.
We were creating increasing patterns today using any materials from our maths kits. It was the 1st time I have seen someone use the cards to create a pattern AND the 1st time someone created a picture with the pattern. So creative!

So many awesome ideas for our warm-up first thing this morning. What do you think of when you hear the word "explorer"?

We made worry stones today to end our week and the month. They will always be with us when we need them.♥️
