So this was pretty cool today. Creating food webs on @canva! My student right here is a GENiOUS 💡and hopefully 🤞🏻a future biologist. @LancasterReads #sdoltech @LafayetteROAR
Loved the encouraging notes while working out. Kids spreading kindness everywhere. Thanks Camp U! 💜💪🏼@UNIVERSAL_AC #fitsummer #weddingweightloss
Clips and iMovie are a perfect combo to make a commercial with greenscreens! Students were even adding in Keynote for some fun animations! @AppleEDU @LancasterReads #sdoltech @LafayetteROAR
We filmed commercials to share about our states for our final ARC Core project! Love the greenscreen, personality, and background support! The encouraging comment makes the video truly special. @SDoLancaster @LafayetteROAR #SDOLtech @LancasterReads
Ready to rock PSSA’s tomorrow! Thanks to the teamwork at Lafayette, students will be arriving to fun positive messages on the sidewalks and entrances! @LafayetteROAR @SDoLancaster

Our after school grouped loved our last session before the new year with a read aloud of the Gingerbread Man and decorating their own cookie! Fun and delicious! @LafayetteROAR

😍This is my fav @Flipgrid project ever! My grade 5s were looking forward to K buddies but with Covid limitations we’re unable to meet in person. My Ss recorded themselves reading a book (w/ fluency & expression) and now these QR codes are a part of a K listening centre.
Diving into division day 1! My students had 4 tasks:
1. Sort the class into 5 equal groups
2. Count items in the bag (all had to agree)
3. Divide items equally among teammates
4. Write an equation to represent
This is the best first division lesson I have ever facilitated.
Great reflection from our Apple PIPS!
Conclusion- Lafayette uses LOTS of apps and tech.
Problems- internet connections and following directions.
Goal-Apps we want to try in our classrooms!

3rd graders used @Flipgrid to create thinking questions about the book they are reading in class. Then answered each other’s questions using the written comments feature! They developed their reading comprehension and digital citizenship skills at the same time!
math+ teamwork+ Flipgrid=magic
Student teams created multistep word problems, presented their problem together on a Flipgrid, and then SOLVED each others problems! Equations and answers were "hidden" until everyone was finished. @LafayetteROAR @LauraMTrimble @Flipgrid #sdoltech
IM. SO. EXCITEDDDDD. We have been using @Flipgrid lotsssss and my students will love to have this dedicated space! Can’t wait for them to see it! Huge thanks to @dmschies and #sdoltech @GDerrSDOL
Lafayette students are reminding others to be nice, kind, and safe through some chalk art! Way to go! @LafayetteROAR
