Let's say your name is Eric and you are the person who predetermines who wins elections.
Elections rely on legitimacy or people believing their vote counts ie that Eric does not exist.
The absolute last thing Eric wants is for people to believe an election was stolen ...
Eric would never decide to have George Bush win like he did in 2000 because it did the one thing he would never want.
It needlessly undermines election integrity.

If I want to pay another person no money for work he does then I don't have that right.
If I want to spend all my money on guns then I have that right.
If I want to spend all my money on a presidential election then I don't have that right
