We are 51st Pellon Scouts. Come, join our growing family of volunteers, friends and supporters. Be the change you want to see in your community. ❤️
As a scout group, we are able to deliver an extensive range of activities, designed to engage with YP, and provide learning opportunities alongside the fun element. #nobodydoesitbetter #haf2026
Thank you to all our professional kitchen staff, who prepare the most amazing food ever seen on a HAF programme! The food element of the programme is just as important as the activities, and here at 51st Pellon we go the extra mile to ensure every child has a balanced meal.
The whole area has had a facelift recently, with access paths cleaned up, years of fly tipping cleared, and improved signage. Thank you to all those involved including @ActiveCdale @Calderdale The Wandering Wombles, @HxCentral and Pellon Together.
In partnership with @ActiveCdale and @Calderdale 51st Pellon Scouts organised a guided walk around Brackenbed as part of our commitment to improving access to green spaces. Wonderful session led by our own local historian, David Glover.
For the first time ever,
Baseball and Softball UK delivered sessions on the HAF programme. 51st Pellon are delighted to be working in partnership with them to support their commitment to working in under represented areas. #HAF2026
Once again, 51st Pellon are delivering an innovative HAF programme, with activities that are delivered by highly trained staff, at the state of the art facilities at Beech Hill School. Our social media team are also setting the standards! #HAF2026
Well done to the organisers of the Annual
Charity Cricket Match. Another superb event held at Booth Cricket Club, with the Eagles winning the final. Well done to all those who competed. Above all, raising money for local charities including @51stpellon . Thank you ❤️
Our Explorer boys completed their DofE Silver expedition this weekend supported by our experienced team of assessors from the Halifax District. #skillsforlife #aspirations #beprepared
In between all this a drive down to Gilwell
Park, the home of scouting, to drop our Network section, who will be volunteering at the 3rd MSF International Jamboree. The rest of the group will follow on Thursday. Tents set up, the logistics team arrived back at 2am!
Children doing what they should be doing in childhood. Playing, having fun, exploring, creating, finding out, and full of joy. #HAF2026
@51stpellon have raised the bar for HAF in Calderdale with an innovative and original programme, outstanding food provision, and state of the art facilities. As the leading organisation in the community with nearly 50 trained staff, we are proud to be part of HAF.
The award winning Summer HAF programme has started again at Beech Hill School offering wide ranging activities, the best facilities, delicious food all cooked on site and a team of highly trained staff from the greatest youth organisation in the world.
Wonderful to see people enjoying the green space, children taking in part in outdoor activities, and families strolling around the meadow. @Calderdale have done some great work cleaning up the area and making it accessible for all to enjoy.
Another year, another super event at the Brackenbed Meadow organised by @51stpellon and supported by @ActiveCdale @HxCentral and @Calderdale Over a thousand people attended, from Park, and North Halifax. Glorious weather, delicious food and snacks, and a real
