Yesterday, students packed the square in #Niš, Serbia, ahead of the crucial October 25 elections. This is how Serbians are responding to #Vučić’s increasingly authoritarian grip on power. His government is making it harder for thousands of Serbian citizens abroad to vote, restricting the number of polling stations and imposing Serbian voting hours even where that means casting a ballot in the middle of the night. @avucic seems determined to follow in the footsteps of his old friend #Orbán. Let’s hope history repeats itself!
