Congratulations @AndersonTe97199 of @FHSBasesLoaded on Your Commitment to @LMCBobcats Lees-McRae's new Head Coach, @DSUT16, has been very busy building up the new D2 Baseball Program in preparation for their inaugural season in Spring 2028. Coach Suttles will be looking for talent via the JUCO Route and Portal too, but a quality 2027 Recruiting Class will be an important catalyst in getting the program off the ground Getting a QB1 like Terrell is a huge help! Yes, he'll be putting away the pigskin for fulltime work on the Diamond, but the leadership, grit, and athleticism Terrell has gained on the gridiron will be instrumental in making the transition to D2 baseball, an environment typically dominated by athletes in their early 20s who are more mature both physically and mentally. Terrell is one of the best athletes in the Mountains, so this is a great get for LMC. However, Terrell said the College, Campus, and Culture were huge factors in his decision. Always glad to see mutual fits. Exciting things happening up in Banner Elk! @kross10robinson @FHS_Panthers @70American @Chris_Womack

Congratulations @wbolyard2007 of @HHSBSBL on your Commitment to @WUSandlot At the buzzer! One final 2026 Grad to celebrate as Bolyard will be heading up North to PA to attending @WaynesburgU Glad to see Will getting the opportunity as the wiry athlete can contribute all over the diamond and on the bump. D3 is a great route right now for High School grads. Waynesburg offers a unique environment for our WNC grads as its located in the same mountain range and offers a similar lifestyle. Located about 13 miles from the WV line, Waynesburg is less than a 7 hour drive to WNC and offers over 70 different degree paths @CImpellittiere @Chris_Womack @VeloBaseballWNC

2027 RHP/IF @LiamSuttles of @RobersonRams had a very productive 2026 Spring & Summer He earned a selection to @StateGamesNC for Region 8, was part of another strong TCR squad earning 2nd Team All MAC, and was a 2-way contributor for @70American Senior Legion as one of only three 2027s to make the roster Suttles has a 4.1 GPA with a desire to pursue a degree in Business and/or Aviation. FB is sitting 81-83 mph. Also an excellent defensive infielder with a developing bat tool

Fun week Got to prove that @70American Legion Baseball can replace Summer Showcase and help prospects find a D1 Opportunity, @BlueHoseBSB. We had several College Coaches in attendance and tuned into the Broadcast yet again this season Then another stud 2027 (also playing Legion w/ @HickoryPost48) who has done his homework by speaking with programs from D3 to JUCO to D1 chose the JUCO Route w/ @CVCCBaseball. Betting on himself and saving a ton of loot

A special event for the 1A/2A Programs hiding way out west in the Smoky Mountain Conference. We're heading to @jacketsbbt828 on July 26th for the 1st ever Smoky Mountain Scout Day. We have seen the talent in the most western region of WNC but it needs refinement and some guidance as to where to look for college fits. Outside of @YHCBaseball and @CatamountBSB, there's not much for college baseball options in the region. We're bringing a few Coaches with us to provide Player Development opportunities for the 2027s, 28s, and 29s in attendance. @NovaXkinetics will also be there to provide some metrics feedback. Invite is open to Smoky Mountain Conference schools, GA and TN border High Schools, and other WNC prospects I've scouted or that have been recommended by their High School, Legion, or Showcase Coach @Maroon_Machine @AHS_Cats @DeweyHaithcox @JoeSellers922 @JacksonSel50139 @Michael_Mauney_ @PeytonBrooks27 @bradyrey11 @RhettSbball2223 @WillHolden810 @zackfutchugv @DawsonStalcup10 @DartezDrew37263 @RobbinsvilleHS @tylernc1 @CamWoodBats @FHSBasesLoaded @SMMustangBball @MurphyNCFootbal @TeamFYNSports @RabunCoBaseball @RGapBaseball @ShaheenKyle @itzcharles20
