This week is the 209th anniversary of the death of Princess Charlotte of Wales. Granddaughter of George III. She died in childbirth so never became Queen. Her story is sad. Why is it important to us? 1/?

It is in Charlotte’s memory that many of the roads in Islington were named after. INCLUDING Claremont square. It was named for the estate where she lived and died. And it should actually be pronounced “Clermont”.
I paced myself this meet-up and had some home stuff to sort out on Friday. Despite not attending much of Friday afternoon and evening or Saturday evening, I still managed to walk 30 miles this weekend! 🤣

Both of these are very quirky contemporary depictions of ghosts. Well worth a read.
Last night's meet dream: The team organised a movie set. Cameron & Ruby parachuted in (literally). Ali was AWOL (looking for doughnuts). It became a street party & I had a good chat with Ruby who wanted apartment-hunting advice. 🤣
