From our earliest days, Black history has always been American history – and Black folks have profoundly shaped our American culture through music, art, literature, sports, and beyond. One month a year is not sufficient to celebrate the power of the movements and the people who have fought for the rights we enjoy today. That’s something that we have to do each and every day, as we strive to live up to their example and make sure our children and grandchildren remember their stories.

A win.
We need to spread the news about wins, no matter how big or small they are perceived to be.
It keeps us encouraged.
This will be a marathon - let’s maintain our hope as we develop strategies to defeat efforts to digress and to stifle genuine, humane progress.

Charles McGee died in 2022 at the age of 102.
He had been the last living member of the Tuskegee Airmen.
Charles McGee was a career officer in the Air Force for 30+ years.
He flew 409 missions, one of the highest combat totals and longest active-duty careers by any Air Force fighter pilot. The Air Force has stopped teaching about the Tuskegee Airmen, despite their distinguished military careers, contributions, and sacrifices.
This is disrespectful to the memory of the Tuskegee Airmen, their family, and future Air Force pilots.
Hey, it’s what President Felonious wanted. The whitewashing of Black History.
Blacks for Trump, you voted for this racist.
Nelly, you asked how is he a White Supremacist.
What does he have to do next to make idiots believe he’s racist? Have a noose outside the White House.
Public lynchings?

baffles me when people ask "why does everything have to be about race" when they are white washing history right in front of your face.
Obeying Trump order, Air Force will stop teaching recruits about Tuskegee Airmen trib.al/ud1sCJb

BREAKING: The U.S. Air Force has reportedly removed a video about the legendary Tuskegee Airmen—trailblazing Black pilots of WWII—from its basic training curriculum at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, following Trump’s executive order banning (DEI) across the federal government.
This has NOTHING to do with DEI and everything to do with the accomplishments of heroes who happened to be black.

I think I will keep reposting this in my time line. These people were and are heroes.

I can’t stop watching this asshole husband of a Republican Senator Deb Fischer who refused to shake hands with Vice President Kamala Harris today.
MAGA is classless even in victory.

They should call this crap white supremacy summit. Im so damn pissed. Punkin is the only one who played a perfect, honest, decent game & never needed help from anyone. She helped others as & never betrayed anyone. They just wouldnt give the money to an incredible Black woman.🤬
