I wish CD PROJEKT RED or Capcom acquire the Mass Effect IP and continues the franchise either with new entries🚀
If EA doesn’t know how to handle the series, CDPR has proven themselves to be masters of their craft🫡
SAVE MASS EFFECT 🪐

Imagine releasing a trilogy of RPGs in a single console generation that contained over 100 hours of gameplay each AND carried over saves between them, remembering your choices. They were on another level.

It’s hard to put into words how much BioWare has influenced my life and my love for video games.
KOTOR has always been one of my all-time favorite games, and titles like Mass Effect and Baldur’s Gate showed me just how powerful storytelling, world-building, memorable characters, and player choice could be in this medium. These are the kinds of games that stay with you long after you finish them.
At one point in my career, I had the opportunity to take part in a recruitment process with BioWare, which made the studio feel a little closer and more personal to me.
Their games were part of what made me fall in love with this industry in the first place, and they’ve been a huge source of inspiration throughout my own journey as a game developer.
And I’m not even going to start on how much CD PROJEKT RED and our games owe to the path BioWare helped pave. Their influence on RPGs, and on the people who went on to create them, is impossible to ignore.
Whatever comes next, BioWare’s legacy and the impact of the incredible people who worked there will live on through their games and through the countless developers and players they inspired.
A huge loss for the entire game development industry. ❤️

I give BioWare credit for making my favorite game of All time: Mass Effect. It was a fantastic game a few generations back that had no sequels. One of the greatest One-and-done games ever made
Bioware helped CDPR in developing the first Witcher game by giving them access to the Aurora engine when they were THE big gigant in the industry.
20 years forward, CDPR is one of the big gigants and Bioware is fcking gone, stop and think about that... crazy times.

This is not something I ever expected to see.
Larian and Bioware started their trajectories in the games industry at the same time and Bioware led the way in making RPGs big. It's almost unimaginable that we're now entering an era were the name Bioware won't show up anymore when discussing upcoming RPGs. What a loss for all of us.
Thank you for all the games. Thank you for the many hours of gameplay. Thank you for all the stories . You can be damned proud of what you achieved.
I hope you all land well.

The first two Baldur's Gate games, KOTOR, Jade Empire, the Mass Effect trilogy, Dragon Age: Origins… So many games that shaped me as a gamer.
This hurts on so many levels. Thank you to everyone who poured their hearts into making these incredible games. 💔

Mass Effect is alive.
We know we're all mourning, but Mass Effect isn't dead. That's not how art works. It will live on as long as people cherish it, talk about it, and share it with others.
Mass Effect is art, and art is eternal.
Use #MassEffectIsAlive and share your love!
We were so happy and we don't know 😭
For those amongst us who were there, this menu and its music will illicit so much emotion.
We didn't know it at the time, but we were about to embark on one of the best gaming trilogies of all time.
