$VRT got cut in half and I don't think most people know why. Vertiv makes the power and cooling gear for AI data centers. It hit $379.93 in May. Closed Friday at $194.32. Down 49%. Nothing went wrong at the company. Guidance wasn't cut. The whole AI trade just got scared about who's paying for all these data centers. CoreWeave bonds near 15%, Meta spending even more, and last Thursday $GEV dropped 11%, $VRT 8%, $ETN 6% in one day. Meanwhile Vertiv raised full year guidance in July to $6.65 to $6.75 EPS and $2.4B to $2.6B free cash flow. Forward P/E went from 55x at the top to about 24.5x now. That's cheaper than its own 5 year average. But I'm not going to pretend the chart looks good. It's under every moving average that matters. RSI is 27.6 so it's oversold, but there's no base yet. Friday's low was $187.24 and I've got $180 to $190 as the real floor. $220 and $240 above. Earnings are Wednesday before the open. Street wants $1.82 EPS on $3.75B revenue. Last time they beat on EPS, missed revenue by a hair and it still dropped 17% in a day. I care more about what they say on orders than the beat itself. I'm not touching it before the print. If $180 to $190 holds after, I'll start a small DCA and add over $220. So what's it going to be after Wednesday? Breakdown under $180 or breakout over $220? 👇 Not financial advice.

Quick Sunday thank you before Fed week. If you read, replied, quoted or reposted, you were here all week, even on the brutal ugly red days. I appreciate every one of you. Thank you. God Bless! 🙏

This would be a nice vacation, and break from the cold weather. Carnival Cruises sometimes offers me free cruises.

Big week coming for investors! 📆 Wednesday at 2 PM ET, the Fed decides on rates. Markets put no change at about 90%, but they're also pricing a 78% chance of a HIKE by December. Gold hated that idea this week. Wednesday after the close, $FM ($FQVLF) reports Q3. Copper barely moved this week while $FM fell 9%. This report gets to explain that gap. Thursday brings PCE inflation. I'm not trading the headlines. I'm watching how my names react to them. #Gold #Silver #Copper Not financial advice. Disclosure: Shareholder.

$CADY.TO is down 41% from its $6.90 IPO. The ground under it produced over 11-million ounces of gold from 1938 to 1996. Cadillac Mines is a pre-revenue explorer at the old Kerr-Addison mine in Virginiatown, Ontario. The resource is 3.38 Moz Indicated at 1.34 g/t plus 2.21 Moz Inferred at 2.66 g/t. There are no mine permits yet. The CEO says permitting starts after the PEA, which is targeted for late 2027. Their own timeline is construction around 2030, and first gold around 2033. The open pit would also mean relocating most of Virginiatown. The company has about C$300M in cash and no debt. Agnico owns about 11%, Pan American about 6%, and Pierre Lassonde's group held about 13% at the IPO. Agnico's 180-day lock-up ends around Feb 1, 2027. It closed at $4.10 on Friday. Imo, this is a YEARS long story. High risk/high reward. It is NOT something I'll be buying currently- too many unknowns. I will watch, and reassess in January 2027. There are many others that might be a better choice. @DonDurrett dropped a recent YouTube video with some nice pics. You can check out his recent video. Not financial advice.

I love the some of the genuine good-hearted individuals that you cross paths with on X. It is refreshing knowing that there are like minded people that are not oblivious.

Agnico Eagle paid C$1.07 a unit for 10% of $RDS.V. It closed today at C$0.93. That's 13% under a senior miner's price, and even under the C$1.01 close before the deal was announced. O'Brien sits 3 km from @agnicoeagle LaRonde complex. Looks like a DISCOUNT to me. Who currently owns this? $RDS.V $RMRDF $AEM $AEM.TO #Gold

Copper is up 1.6% today. $FM.TO is DOWN. Zoom out and it gets stranger. Since Sep 29, the day before the Cobre Panamá panic, copper has barely moved (about -1.5%). First Quantum is down 25%. Meanwhile Reuters reports FM plans to apply for Argentina's RIGI tax break on Taca Taca, a project of up to $5.25B that the company has said could produce ~209,000 tonnes of copper a year for 35 years. The market is pricing Panama like it's gone forever and Argentina like it doesn't exist. Q3 results drop Oct 28. I kept half my position for a reason. 💪 $FM.TO $FQVLF #Copper Not financial advice. One can always wait for an entry, or leave dry powder for another possible flush down event...... nothing is a guarantee especially with the manipulated paper prices.

Gold just slipped under $4,000. Silver is down more than half from its January high. Your feed is full of panic. Be honest. What are you doing with your stack today?

Friday close and my whole screen was red... except ONE. $GSVR.V closed at C$0.315, up 1.6%, on 1.3M shares. Its busiest day of the week. Gold fell about 4% this week. The silver miners ETF fell 10%. Guanajuato Silver still found buyers. One green candle doesn't make a bottom. But I noticed who got bid first 👀 $GSVR.V $GSVRF #Silver Not financial advice. Disclosure: Shareholder.

Called $4,017.40 this afternoon. Tonight gold tagged it, and dipped just 35 cents under, to $4,017.05 🎯 Now it has to hold. If it does, you saw it here first. #Gold #XAUUSD Not financial advice.
Gold will bounce at $4017.40.

Gold can drop another 50% from here... and $NEM will still make money on every ounce. Gold dropped over 2% today, and Newmont stock dropped with it. Then Newmont released its earnings after the close, and one number jumped out at me. In early 2025 it cost Newmont $1,447 to dig up an ounce of gold, all in. Last quarter it cost $1,454. Basically the same cost. But that ounce now sells for $4,317 instead of $2,944. So what's left over on every ounce nearly doubled, from about $1,500 to about $2,860. That turned into $1.9 BILLION of FCF (free cash flow) in a single quarter, up 22% from a year ago. They beat Wall Street's estimate, lowered their cost guidance for the year, and bought back $1.6 billion of their own stock since July. A red day doesn't change that. It just puts it on sale. #Gold #GoldMining

A major Mexican silver mine has reportedly been shut for over a month. According to local reports, workers at First Majestic ( $AG ) San Dimas mine in Durango have been on strike since September, and it allegedly became a formal strike on October 8. The company says the dispute is over who pays tax on a worker bonus. The union has reportedly raised safety and contract concerns too. San Dimas produced about 860,000 ounces of silver last quarter. Every week it stays closed, those ounces aren't coming out of the ground. People keep asking where the silver shortage is. Sometimes it's a picket line in the mountains of Durango ⛏️ 🎥 Video via @Sallvatoree (Canal 12 Durango) $FR.TO #Silver #SilverMining Not financial advice.
