As part of this week's episode, I gathered some information on the amount of minutes each Scottish Prem club gave in season 25/26 to players who started the season aged 21 or younger. Almost half of the league's clubs gave less than 1% of game time to them, collectively. Oh dear ⤵️ ❤️ Hearts - 0.2% - Only James Wilson - 77 mins 🟩 Hibs - 0.2% - Only Rudi Molotnikov - 58 mins 🟡 Motherwell - 0.6% - Almost entirely Luca Ross with 9 sub apps 🟦 Rangers - 0.6% - Only Finlay Curtis - 194 mins 🐼 St Mirren - 0.7% - Only Evan Mooney 🟢 Celtic - 1.9% - Only Colby Donovan 🍊 Dundee Utd - 2.5% - Stirton, Cleal-Harding, Thomson & Fotheringham sporadic appearances 🟥 Aberdeen - 4.4% - Mitchell Frame & Dylan Lobban 🟨 Livingston - 6.5% - Only Macauley Tait 🔵 Dundee - 8.9% - Would be 0.1% without Luke Graham! 🟦 Falkirk - 10% - Mainly Allan, Stewart & Yeats 🔵 Killie - 11.2% - Heavy lifting done by Watson.

“Scottish football is in terrible shape” No Celtic and Rangers are in terrible shape. Hibs were minutes away from beating a side with twice their resources, Hearts beat a Rapid Vienna side with twice theirs. Motherwell gave a good account of themselves against the Europa League finalists after beating HJK Helsinki. It’s just the Glasgow clubs that embarrassed themselves

Scotland have never, ever , ever once in my 30 odd year of watching them been free flowing or attacking. Literally never. Clarke gets us better results than anyone ever has. We are at the World Cup with a decent chance of getting through to knockouts. Get on board FFS 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Amount of miserable bastards that think we should beat anyone is wild. We haven’t been here for 30 years for a reason. Lost 1-0 v one of the, although not traditionally, top ranked sides in the world.
Fully agree with @EwenDCameron here, we’ll get through on GD after beating Haiti 1-0 and the awful performances will be swept under the carpet because we’ve qualified for the last 32. Don’t even get me started on Callum’s response…

Strolled into Naples, won the Scudetto, then looked like Bond at Wimbledon, before scoring a mural-worthy overhead kick to help take Scotland to the WC. Those Neapolitan tomatoes are something else

Hi Chris, Ayrshire Scotland. Nobody cares about Celtic winning the league. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
I doubt you’d say it to Martin O’Neill’s face… what an embarrassing take anyway. Scottish people care about Scottish football and you can carry on not caring from London.

Just spoke to the BBC about the demand for ice rinks in the UK - piece out next week. The mainstream media's intrigue in the sport is getting less absurd each time they look at the sport - from the ridiculous FT article about why women follow ice hockey, then to the potential 'spike in interest' from Heated Rivalry, now finally true journalism about something that matters. Waiting lists at nearly all clubs. Many hours of travel just to train. 2million tickets sold annually to league/cup fixtures. Biggest indoor sport in the country (by a long way). The sport has grown quietly, well-past the current infrastructure available. This is not just a supply and demand issue that will 'go away'.

I find this situation intolerable and wonder why the vast majority of Scots don’t feel that way every time we hear of the continued pillage of our natural resources going south
Scottish taxpayers soon to pay first £100 million instalment to keep an old English steelworks in business and another £100m to save an old English oil refinery so that it can replace a Scottish oil refinery to refine oil almost entirely from Scottish wa talkingupscotlandtwo.com/202…

Clan fans are worse than they have ever been. The quality and depth through the roster is the best we have ever had, unfortunately we are an absolute write off with injuries and players playing with knocks. It’s not happy clapping, it’s using your eyes.

A reminder we got shafted with Keeper and Elmer who would have been significant players planned in the summer. Siego got injured in Germany. Uncontrollable scenarios which resulted in the signing of Poolman and Kielb. (Not just roster fillers)

We are now in an injury crisis which teams go through, it can’t be fixed overnight. We have a strong organisation that have proven they know how to navigate these things. Get off your high horse and accept the situation we are in.

It’s not a surprise, he’s a Scottish superstar. Not viewed in the same regard as the English…. Tale as old as time.
Scott McTominay a surprise omission from #SPOTY short-list? Won Scudetto, voted Serie A Player of the Year, nominated for Ballon d’Or, helped Scotland qualify for World Cup, scored vital/spectacular goal against Denmark that’s surely a Puskas Awards contender. Amazing year 👏
