My advice to Gina Hinojosa: Stop allowing political differences to influence economic decisions. Elon Musk’s political affiliation and support for Donald Trump should have nothing to do with how his businesses are treated in Texas.
Tesla creates jobs, attracts investment and contributes to the state’s economy. If you want Texas to prosper, focus on policies that encourage businesses to invest, expand and create more employment opportunities rather than threatening them with punitive taxes.
You may disagree with Elon Musk politically, but your responsibility as governor is to represent ALL Texans, not just Democrats. Don’t turn Texas into a state where businesses feel punished for supporting the wrong political party.
