I would not have minded at all if the Devs clapped that on Hill after the officials let play go on so long without resetting the net
Hertl seems to be looking to stir it up with Jack to start this period, but the Hughes line responded by forcing Vegas to defend an extended offensive shift.

Arseny Gritsyuk casually on pace for 48 goals this season.

Great players can have summers where they just fix something that has been lacking. The talent has always been there for Luke, and he was a big scorer in college, but he talked about diving into what makes Werenski and Quinn NHL scorers and, well, here's that work paying off.
That was Luke Hughes' 5th goal in 14 games this season. He had 6 goals in 68 games all of last season.

Yeah yeah, Luke Hughes with a great shot, but can we talk about Mantha and Boqvist on that goal?

Little development I’m hearing out of New Jersey from my insider, BUT sounds like Jack Hughes was NOT happy with some of the moves that Mehta made this summer. Bringing in Hellebuyck has subsided some of those frustrations, BUT it seems HE still isn’t thrilled with the direction that the team is going in. Starting to wonder if he perhaps has one foot out the door… 👀

Funny stuff Greg!
I wrote the ESPN NHL Power Rankings this week.
It’s one horror movie for each of the 32 teams.
Spooky!
