Something something horror, something something monsters, something something ♾ rep
A VERY NICE THING concerned cis/het allies can do to support schools, trans students, and queer authors is: 1) find a local librarian/teacher to host an author visit
2) act as liaison & connect them with a queer author, either local or virtually
3) PAY THAT AUTHOR YOURSELF.
I hate this app, but since ppl are slowly transitioning, an ask:
I have a queer friend who's an incredibly savvy and gifted social media and branding manager who's in urgent need of work with benefits and ready to hit the ground running! 🧵
Rarely, RARELY ever here, and I know a lot of folks are finally jumping ship--if you wanna chat, sprint, or follow, adding "books" to the end of my name is a good way to find me most places. Come find me! 🫶

This put a (good) lump in my throat--on the intersection of queerness and rural living, through the lens of middle-grade literature, with examination of my book, The Beautiful Something Else. <3

Y'know what would really help me this Trans Day of Visibility? Being able to actually look in the mirror and see myself the way that I want to. I don't know why I didn't think to link this before.
