Thank you all for your replies and feedback. It made me realize how different boundaries and cultural norms can be, especially with an international audience on X. Personally, I think protecting official artists' IP comes first, but I get that some people have strict limits regarding age gaps or caregiver-like dynamics. I will keep all of this in mind for my future activities.
Since I don't know if any currently revealed characters are minors yet, and I really don't want to deal with more harassment, I’ve decided to step back from drawing this until next year. Thanks again for all the support and messages!
personally, I’m fine with pairings between two adults as long as there’s no blood relation. I enjoy step-family ships. But I understand that a guardian taking care of someone as a child and later shipping them is a hard limit for some people.
so feel free to block me if that’s not for you. I respect the cultural background of international fans, depending on how their official relationship turns out, I will either stop drawing them or post with content warnings.
