At what point do we question the infrastructure in Texas, and how things are set up? I lived in Florida for seven years, and covered countless hurricanes and natural disasters. Was never in a prolonged outage, nor did things feel chaotic and discombobulated.

Now all of Brazoria & Wharton County are under a Hurricane Warning. A Hurricane Watch has also been issued for Galveston Island. #Beryl’s track has continued to shift ever so slightly east, raising our chance of receiving bigger impacts from Beryl. @abc13houston

It’s Election Day. You know the drill. We have 14 constitutional amendments on the ballot. An open mayoral seat, city controller race, and several city council races. So far, we are hearing of very few issues across the 701 polling locations in Harris Co.

The young boy was hit when gunshots interrupted evening worship service. Police are questioning if the shooting has anything to do with noise complaints the church received about two months ago. abc13.com/shots-fired-into-c…
A Hispanic congregation’s prayer service was interrupted by a gun shot according to Houston police. Then bullet hit an 11-year-old boy according to police. We spoke to the pastor and neighbors across the street. @abc13houston
